Namsan Arts Center, reopened as a creative space in Seoul in September 2009. It redefined the colors and characteristics of the theater, aiming for a modern theater production center centered on creative premieres, a contemporary performance venue where visitors can feel the pulse of the times, and a theater capable of various experiments.
Namsan Arts Center Drama Center is the first modern folk theater in Korea and the oldest performance hall in which the original architectural form has been preserved. Ichon Hangang Park is built along the Hangang Park in Yongsan. From the park, one can see the Hangang River up close, and one can also find sports facilities like soccer fields, jokgu fields, inline skating rink, water sports facilities, bicycle paths, as well as a nature learning center built around a restored wetland and a lawn. Gaetmaeul restaurant, located in Ichon-dong in the Yongsan area of Seoul, is widely known for its specialty dish, Son-manduguk (handmade dumpling soup). Not only does it serve exceptionally delicious food, but the service is friendly, and the facilities are clean. As well as the excellent mandu dishes, such as manduguk (dumpling soup) and tteok-manduguk (dumpling soup with rice cake slices), the menu also includes bindatteok (Korean mung-bean pancake) and suyuk (boiled slices of beaf). The kimchi used to fill the dumplings and offered as a side dish is also particularly good.

Lotte World Aquarium, located in Lotte World Mall, is an aquarium that replicates the marine ecosystems of the world's five oceans. It exhibits over 55,000 marine animals of 650 species. Visitors can participate in various programs such as feeding sessions for different animals including penguins and jellyfish touch experiences, allowing them to get up close with marine life.

SEOUL SKY is located on floors 117-123 of Lotte World Tower, the nation's tallest and the world's fifth tallest building. The observatory offers a panoramic view of the entire capital city, beautiful both day and night. SEOUL SKY is comprised of an exhibition zone, observation deck, sky deck, dessert cafe, sky terrace, lounge, and more.

To get to Seoul Sky, visitors have to take the Sky Shuttle, a double-deck elevator that reaches a speed of 600 meters per minute. The one-minute ride feels quite short while watching the videos playing on the walls and ceiling. While waiting for the elevator up, visitors can enjoy art in the exhibition zone in basement levels 1-2. The exhibition includes artwork displaying the history, culture, and pride of Korea's foundation and success over the centuries. Visitors can also purchase Seoul Sky merchandise from the gift shop to remember their trip or give as a souvenir.

The observation deck has two story-high glass windows for an uninterrupted view. The Sky Deck, located at 478 meters, holds the Guinness World Record as the highest glass-floored observatory in the world. On days when visibility is limited, visitors can still enjoy a clear sky through the Sky Theater. The 120 floor holds the Sky Terrace, open to the elements.

Visitors looking for refreshments can enjoy the one-of-a-kind menu served at the dessert cafe Sky Friends Cafe on level 119, or refreshing wine sold at the premium lounge on floor 123. This cozy space is the highest lounge in Seoul and is perfect for taking in the view in a relaxing ambiance.

Cheonggyecheon Stream (청계천)

Cheonggye Plaza was built on Sejong-ro Street, where Cheonggyecheon Stream begins. It was built between Dong-A Ilbo, the starting point of the Cheonggyecheon Stream restoration, and Sindap Railroad Bridge, with a length of 160 meters, a x_width of 50 meters, and a total area of 6,962 meters squared. The plaza is decorated with fountains, waterfalls, and walking paths. It was created as a place for meetings, harmony, peace, and unification, to celebrate the significance of the restoration of Cheonggyecheon Stream. A miniaturized version of Cheonggyecheon Stream is displayed here, providing an overview of the restored stream. There are also interpretive panels about the 22 bridges that cross Cheonggyecheon stream. Fountains of various shapes create beautiful scenery. Cheonggyecheon Stream is accessible from the square through stairs on the left and Cheonggye Trail on the right. There is also an 18-meter tunnel on the Cheonggye Trail, providing a unique experience for citizens entering Cheonggyecheon Stream from the plaza. After constructing Cheonggyecheon Plaza, the Seoul Metropolitan Government made it a car-free street on public holidays so that the plaza, waterside area, and streets could be used as cultural spaces for citizens to relax. A spectacular sight is created by three-color lights illuminating the fountains and a two-tiered waterfall coming down from a x_height of four meters. Palseokdam, made of eight stones from eight provinces in Korea, was laid along the waterfall's sides.
