Gallery Park Young Sook (Atelier Seoul) is the gallery of the modern potter, Park Young Sook. The gallery displays and sells white porcelain representing the Joseon dynasty, Buncheong ware, and ceramics with modern flavors. As the name implies, the gallery feels more like a showroom than a shop, even though the various items, including flower vases, decorative ceramics, and daily use earthenware are for sale. Queen Elizabeth II of England visited Gallery Park Young Sook during her second visit. The gallery has even expanded, with another branch opening in New Jersey.

Monument Coffee is a casual hangout café for locals located across from Cheonho-dong. This cafe is on one side of the first floor of the building, and although it is small, with only three or four tables, many regulars visit this place often due to the taste of coffee, baked snacks, and desserts. The signature menu here is the real vanilla bean latte. The unique, savory flavor comes to life thanks to the generous use of vanilla beans. This signature menu is limited and only offered while ingredients last on a daily basis, so visitors are advised to visit early. Nakseonjae Hall (낙선재)

Located inside Changdeokgung Palace, Nakseonjae Hall is a one-story structure built in ikgong style (bird wing-shaped eaves placed on top of the pillars) with a hip tiled and gable roof. It has 6 kan in the front and 2 kan (traditional unit of measurement of the space between pillars) to the sides. It originally belonged to the nearby Changgyeonggung Palace, but came to be considered a part of Changdeokgung Palace in more recent years.

The hall was constructed in 1846 (12th year of King Heonjong’s reign) and it is collectively called Nakseonjae together with the adjacent Seokbokheon Hall and Sugangjae Hall.

Behind the building is a flower garden made of stacked large stones. The chimney, the flowers, and the oddly shaped stones harmoniously blend into one another to create an outstanding landscape gardening.
