Sueojangdae Post (Defense Commander's Post) is a two-story military facility used as a lookout post as well as for directing battles. This structure was built on the western side of Namhansanseong Fortress as one of the four command posts. During the Manchu Invasion of 1636, King Injo personally commanded and encouraged the troops from here. They held out for 45 days against a Qing force of 120,000, before finally being forced to surrender and accept vassal status to the Manchu Empire.

Mokdong Stadium was opened in 1989 with a stadium, a baseball field and an indoor ice rink and added footsal field in 2008 to improve Korea’s sports culture. The soccer field was used as the home field for K-league teams in the past. The ice rink hosts hockey matches and figure skating competitions as well as ice ballet performances. Boramae Park is a former Air Force Academy site that has been transformed into a recreational park on May 1986. At approximately 397,000 ㎡, the park holds various sports facilities including a tennis court and sports center as well as convenient facilities such as a small zoo, pond, walking trail and more. The 2nd floor of Building 4 has a library that is popular with teenagers as well as Teenager Center where they can enjoy various activities and programs.
