Gwacheon Wildflower Nature Learning Center was opened to provide a place to learn about nature and harmony. The area is 6,900㎡ and has approximately 112 species of wildflowers. The learning center is divided into sections according to the type and use of wildflowers. The learning center also houses a traditional tightrope walking education center. Korean tightrope walking is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The site offers an educational tightrope walking experience program for those interested.

Hwadam Botanic Garden is an eco-friendly arboretum located within Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, a 40-minute drive away from Seoul. In an effort to revive the country's forest ecosystem, LG Evergreen Foundation brought in approximately 4,300 types of exquisite and domestic plants to form a forest park divided into 17 themes. "Hwadam" can be translated into "friendly communication," a name given to the forest in hopes that the area serves as means for people to communicate with nature. While the forest is designed to offer an environmentally friendly atmosphere to humans, the ecosystem and habitats of the forest are well-preserved, serving as a home to many living species.

Konjiam Resort is 4 kilometers and 40 minutes away from Gonjiam IC and Gangnam respectively, which is the most attractive feature of this ski resort. It is comprised of large-scale ski slopes, condominiums, a spa, botanical garden and other subsidiary facilities as a multi-complex premium resort.
Its slopes are designed widely for beginner, intermediate-skiers, and snowboarders. In particular, three lifts connecting to the top of the ski slopes as well as a 1.8 kilometer-long slope for beginners and intermediate skiers are loved by visitors. To hold an international competition, the resort worked hard to earn certificates from International Ski Federation (FIS) for four slopes out of nine total.

As the first municipal art museum in Hwaseong, a large sauna building that had been abandoned for a long time after closing was renovated into an art museum. Yungneung and Geolleung Royal Tombs refer to a pair of royal tombs. The complex also contains the History Center. Yungneung houses the remains of King Jangjo (1735-1762; also known as Crown Prince Sado) and Queen Heongyeong (1735-1816; Lady Hyegyeong of the Pungsan Hong clan), while Geolleung houses the remains of King Jeongjo (1752-1800), King Jangjo’s son, and Queen Hyoui (1753-1821). King Jeongjo is said to have expressed his wish to be buried here to stay close to his father.
