The Convention and Exhibition Center (COEX) was established on September 7, 1988 as a large-scale business town for domestic and overseas businessmen. Business operations can be managed easily as assembly halls, exhibition halls, the Korean City Air Terminal, InterContinental Hotel, and Hyundai Department Store are gathered in one spot.

A 57-story building contains 20 trade organizations including the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), as well as 250 companies and financial institutions. Convention and Exhibition, which houses three specialized exhibition halls and permanent exhibition halls, is composed of a four-story main building and three-story extension.

An underground passageway connects COEX Mall, completed in 2000, and Bongeunsa Temple to the north with Samseong Station (Seoul Subway Line 2). Additional facilities for culture, pleasure, and shopping make COEX a must-visit attraction.

The Tea World Festival, with its aim to promote tea culture as "easily enjoyable with others," began in 2003 and has grown to become the largest tea exhibition in Korea. It showcases goods from tea producers across the country. With a combination of events, performances, and representatives from Korea’s tea industry, the festival is a must-see event for tea enthusiasts everywhere.

Dream Forest (북서울 꿈의숲)

Dream Forest, previously known as Odong Neighborhood Park, is located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The park is surrounded by cherry blossom trees, and the northern section is filled with maple trees, making the park especially attractive in spring and fall. The Changnyeongwigung Ritual House (Registered Cultural Heritage) has been restored with traditional landscaping such as a pond, pavilion and waterfall created nearby to double the genuine beauty of a traditional Korean park. Major attractions of the park include Wolyeongji Pond, Grass Square, Wolgwangpokpo Falls, Aewoljeong Pavilion, Chilbokji Falls, Event Garden, Children’s Gallery, Wild Grass Garden, Deer Ranch, Exploring Path, Forest Rest, and a water park. Cheonggyecheon Museum (청계천박물관)

Cheonggyecheon Museum officially opened in October 2005. The museum’s long, glass exterior represents the flowing waters of Cheonggyecheon Stream, which runs through the heart of Seoul. The museum has a permanent exhibition hall, special exhibition hall, educational hall, and an auditorium. The museum contains visual representations of Seoul before and after the transition of Cheonggyecheon Stream. The permanent exhibition hall was remodeled in October 2015, and now offers even more ways to view the history of Seoul as shaped by Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Cheongdam Park (청담공원)

Up until the early 1960's, people would cross the Hangang River from Ttukseom Ferry Dock and arrive in Cheongdam-dong. Although highly developed, Cheongdam Park remains as a soothing natural oasis that is relatively untouched by city pollution. Following the trail, there is a small exercise area and playground. The park is quite crowded in the morning with people exercising. The tightly woven trees in the park offers a resting place to enjoy fresh air. The park size is 59,347 ㎡.
