Located inside Everland amusement park, Ho-Am Art Museum is a popular destination for tourists who desire to enjoy a theme park and artwork at the same time. The art gallery is available on the second floor of a traditional hanok building, showcasing artwork from the pre-historic age to contemporary era. About 100 of Korea’s national treasures are on display along with Buddhist art, calligraphy, folk paintings, ceramics and other various pieces.

Icheon Ceramics Village (이천도예마을)

Icheon Ceramics Village produces traditional Korean ceramics, which are of high quality. The village became the center of traditional pottery during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) for about 500 years due to the easily obtainable materials in the areas. Icheon Ceramics Village was also the center of Joseon Baekja ceramics. Presently, about 80 pottery factories are congregated at the village, and about 300 pottery kilns are in use.
Visitors can observe the pottery production process, and purchase them directly. It is worthwhile to see the crafts of these potters known as Living Cultural Treasures of Korea for creating the highest quality handicrafts. Not only are the traditional Cheongja, Baekja, and Buncheong pottery produced here, but you can also view modern design pottery. The Haegang Ceramics Art Center is the only ceramics Art Center in Korea, where you can learn about ceramics. One of the must-see events at Icheon Ceramics Village is the internationally famous “Icheon Ceramics Festival” held every year. Displayed pottery as well as, pottery classes, traditional kiln handling, pottery character show, and even parades are held.

Goblin (고블린)

Goblin is a spacious café, known for its roastery and pour-over coffee. It is bathed in natural light thanks to its large windows. Insaeng Gogijip Butcher Shop Restaurant, as its name suggests, is connected to a butcher shop. It is renowned for its low-temperature-aged Korea beef and pork, ensuring tenderness and juiciness. Customers can purchase hanu deungsim (Korean beef sirloin), handon (Korean pork), wagyu, and other meats on the first floor, and then grill them on the second floor. Standard dishes include yukhoe (beef tartare), yukjeon (pan-fried battered beef), cheonggukjang jjigae (rich soybean paste jjigae), vegetables for wraps, and various side dishes. Ijin Sanghoe (이진상회)

Ijin Sanghoe is a complex cultural space with a café, a Korean table d’hote restaurant, an Indian curry restaurant, and a prop shop on a large site of 16,000 m². As befitted for a representative city of ceramics, this space is filled with ceramics right from the entrance. In addition, there are many sculptures outside along the trail, like an outdoor art museum, providing many things to look around. The bakery café, the most famous spot in Ijin Sanghoe, has different designs for each seat, making it fun to choose where to sit. It sells many unique breads made using Icheon rice and various cakes. In particular, visitors can take the ceramic plates along with the bread they picked to their table. A rice ball-shaped bread and a fried egg-shaped bread made from Icheon rice are especially popular. It is a great place to be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of gender or age, as it is a large space full of attractions.

Icheon Ceramics Village (이천도자기마을)

Icheon Ceramics Village is located at the four-way intersection of the ceramics village in Saeum-dong, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. About 50 ceramic workshops are gathered in this village in about 40,000 m²area. Each workshop has its own unique characteristics, so visitors can take a look around and purchase freely. It's also fun to stop by a café and take a break. Some workshops operate a pottery-making experience program, allowing visitors to create their own work. Every spring and fall, in particular, a regular discount event on ceramics is held. Icheon is famous not only for pottery but also for its high-quality rice. Visiors will find restaurants of various sizes, from large hanok (traditional Korean house) to small houses, along the Gyeongchung-daero that serve rice produced in Icheon.

Bundang Astro Camp (분당 어린이천문대)

The Astro Camp was established to encourage young children to take an interest in space and natural science and to develop creative problem-solving skills. The Children's Observatory provides a wide range of educational programs developed by expert educators from diverse fields of majors at Yonsei University.

In the future, the observatory hopes to continue to expand its experience-centered, in-depth educational programs to help children reach a better understanding of astronomy and natural science principles. Programs focus not only on providing children with accurate information, but also seek to encourage participants to be self-motivated thinkers.

Yangji Pine Pet Park (양지파인펫파크)

Seolbongsan Mountain (설봉산)

Seolbongsan Mountain (설봉산, 394 m) dominates the western portion of Icheon City. It has also been called Bugaksan Mountain and Muhaksan Mountain since the mountain resembles a crane with its wings spread open. Although the mountain is not rugged and maintains a well kept walking trail, it has many intriguing rock formations. There are as many as eight natural springs from which clear water gushes, and there are also Buddhist temples and relics scattered across the mountain. There are other attractions to see and enjoy as well, such as Seolbong Park, which was established at the opening of the World Ceramic Exhibition, as well as the municipal museum.
