Seonamsa is a beautiful temple located at the east end of Jogyesan Mountain. The distance between the entrance and the temple site is approximately one kilometer. The temple site is nestled within a lush forest of diverse trees that are hundreds of years old. In front of the temple is an arched stone bridge named Seungseongyo Bridge, which is supported by natural bedrocks. In front of the main hall, Daeungjeon Hall, are two three-story stone pagodas that grab visitors' attention. Not only is Seonamsa Temple home to many of the country's pristine treasures and artifacts, it is also one of the few temples that preserve the traditional temple culture even as of today. Seonamsa Temple is beautiful throughout the year, but it is especially inviting in spring and fall when the flowers start to bloom and tree leaves change in color.

Songgwangsa Temple is a temple located to the west of Jogyesan Mountain and is known as one of the three priceless temples along with Haeinsa Temple in Hapcheon and Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan. It was founded during the Silla dynasty and boasts cultural assets including four national treasures and 26 treasures, along with over 80 buildings including the Daeungbojeon Hall. Additionally, it operates the Buddhist Museum exhibiting temple cultural assets, a Buddhist university, and templestay programs.

Located in both Seungju-eup and Songgwang-myeon of Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, Jogyesan Mountain has two famous Buddhist temples on it: Seonamsa Temple and Songgwangsa Temple. It is a relatively low mountain with rounded corners and a soft tranquility. The park is popular year round due to the two temples. Naganeupseong Walled Town is located in Jeollanam-do, and contains a fortress town that is over 59,504 ㎡ in size. The fortress walls were built using square-shaped stones to reach 4 meters in x_height, 3 to 4 meters in x_width, and 1,410 meters in total length. The town consists of three neighborhoods along the east, south and west of the fortress walls. The village is overall well preserved, allowing visitors to observe houses and lifestyles that have all been passed down from the past. The town is highly valued as a historical and cultural resource for studying traditional folk customs.

Ganghyunjae is a hanok accommodation located in Boseong, Jeollanam-do where you can relax in the peaceful atmosphere of a rural village. Suncheon Utjang is a familiar five-day-interval market in Suncheon that combines the convenience of a permanent market with the charm of a traditional one. Every five days starting from the 5th of each month, this market opens for business and bustles with local street vendors, creating a vibrant atmosphere. A notable highlight is the Suncheon Utjang Gukbap Alley, a food street designated as both a Namdo Food Street by Jeollanam-do and a Suncheon Specialty Food Zone. It’s renowned for its flavorful Gukbap (rice soup dishes). In particular, when ordering two or more servings, diners receive complimentary dishes such as boiled pork slices or blood sausage, depending on the type of Gukbap ordered, making the meal even more appetizing and filling. A favorite of all ages, Utjang Gukbap has become a signature comfort food of the five-day-interval market. In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of fresh seasonal produce and regional delicacies that capture the unique spirit of Suncheon.

Opened in 1981, Jungang Market is located in the middle of Suncheon’s old city center, making it very accessible. It is a place where shopping, gourmet food, and culture come together, with a fashion street popular with young people, a historical and traditional alley specializing in grilled small intestines, and waterfront cultural spaces by Okcheon Stream. Among them, the small intestine hot pot of Jeonwon Sikdang, run by a mother-and-son duo, is a popular and easy-to-eat dish full of spinach in a flavorful broth. If you want a simpler meal, head to Ogane Tteokbokki, which featured in the show "Running Man." The market has plenty of stuff to eat and see, full of nostalgia, with all sorts of vegetables sold by old ladies. It's a great place to pick up a bargain as well.
