Konjiam Resort is 4 kilometers and 40 minutes away from Gonjiam IC and Gangnam respectively, which is the most attractive feature of this ski resort. It is comprised of large-scale ski slopes, condominiums, a spa, botanical garden and other subsidiary facilities as a multi-complex premium resort.
Its slopes are designed widely for beginner, intermediate-skiers, and snowboarders. In particular, three lifts connecting to the top of the ski slopes as well as a 1.8 kilometer-long slope for beginners and intermediate skiers are loved by visitors. To hold an international competition, the resort worked hard to earn certificates from International Ski Federation (FIS) for four slopes out of nine total.

Designed by WAT&G (Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo), a recognized architeture and design corporation, Konjiam Resort features an exotic ambience in the North American style. Guests can enjoy ecological streams through the resort complex and botanical gardens (160,000 ㎡), Destination Spa, the first in Korea; and a water zone for a special experience.

Jisan Forest Resort, which opened in December 1996, makes for the perfect one-day trip from Seoul. It is located only forty minutes from the capital and is covered with beautiful white pines.

The ski slopes were developed to be environmentally-friendly, making it a popular attraction for the locals. With the latest snow removal machine, the drive from Seoul is safer, letting more people come to the resort at night to enjoy night skiing. For those visiting with family, the beginner courses makes it easy to learn how to ski and snowboard.

Furthermore, Icheon ceramics complex is a mere 15 minutes away, offering a variety of sights to see and ceramicware experience programs to enjoy. Everland Amusement park and a hot springs complex are also located very close by.

Hwadam Botanic Garden (화담숲)

Hwadam Botanic Garden is an eco-friendly arboretum located within Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, a 40-minute drive away from Seoul. In an effort to revive the country's forest ecosystem, LG Evergreen Foundation brought in approximately 4,300 types of exquisite and domestic plants to form a forest park divided into 17 themes. "Hwadam" can be translated into "friendly communication," a name given to the forest in hopes that the area serves as means for people to communicate with nature. While the forest is designed to offer an environmentally friendly atmosphere to humans, the ecosystem and habitats of the forest are well-preserved, serving as a home to many living species.
