San On is actually two hanok stays, one in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, the other in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Yangpyeong San On is nestled among trees and mountains. Everland is an amusement park that entertains visitors through attractions in the five themed areas of Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, Zootopia, and European Adventure. One of the park’s most famous rides is T-Express, Korea’s first wooden roller coaster, popular among young visitors. Zootopia is a must-see as it spans an area of 15,000 ㎡ and exhibits 2,000 animals. Lost Valley opened in 2013 and features the largest ecological safari world with tours by amphibious car to see 150 animals. Caribbean Bay is a world-class water park with various attractions and health facilities based on the theme of the Caribbean coast. Attractions include an artificial wave pool with a x_width of 120 meters and a length of 104 meters, a lazy river that passes through indoor and outdoor pools, and various slides that maximize adventure and thrill. Indoor facilities include a wave pool, slides, spas, and saunas. One of the park's best attractions is Mega Storm, a large, complex water slide. The circular tube starts from the boarding platform 37 meters above the ground and travels 355 meters rotating in all directions and going up and down three rapid descents. The last part of the ride is a large 18-meter funnel-shaped tornado that gives riders a zero gravity experience for about 55 to 60 seconds.

The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty are the only royal tombs in the world that remain largely intact from a single dynasty spanning more than 500 years, making them a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Yeongneung is the combined tomb of the 4th ruler of Joseon dynasty, King Sejong (1397-1450) who created the Korean alphabet and his wife Queen Soheon. Nyeongneung is the royal tomb of the 17th ruler of the Joseon dynasty, King Hyojong (1619-1659, reigned 1649-1659), and of his wife Queen Inseon (1618-1674). The Wangneung Forest here boasts spectacular fall foliage.

Pasaseong Fortress Site (여주 파사성)

The stone walls of Pasasan Fortress stretch along the ridge of the 250-meter-high Pasasan Mountain. The fortress is strategically situated for national defense by being located at the edge of the river bank, from which you can see both upstream and downstream. It is said that the fortress was constructed during the reign of the King Pasa, the 5th ruler of the Silla Kingdom. The walls stretch over 1,800 meters in length. At its highest point, the wall is 6.25 meters tall, and 1.4 meters tall at its lowest point.
