Suseongmot Lake Resort is located at the foot of the northwest side of Yongjibong Peak (altitude 629 meters) in Beommul-dong and offers outstanding scenery including gently sloping mountains along with Suseongmot Lake. The resort is centered around Suseongmot Lake, established in 1925 with 700,000 pondage in a circumference of 2,020 meters. The total area of the park is 218,000 ㎡.
Suseongmot Lake is an artificial lake created in 1925 during the Japanese colonial period to supply water for agriculture to rural areas. Today, it is no longer used for agricultural purposes, but has been turned into a resting area. Nearby the lake is Suseong Land which houses benches, walking paths, a ferry dock, and entertainment facilities such as a Viking ship, bumper cars, and merry-go-round. In addition, visitors can enjoy a duck boat ride, view of Dusanpokpo Falls and other exciting places perfect for excursions. The lake has a music fountain that operates four times a day from May to October.

Asadara is a Korean beef restaurant, set amidst a beautifully landscaped pine tree garden. At the meat corner, customers choose their meat and pay for it separately, plus an extra service charge for the meal. The restaurant's highlight is hanu sutbulgui (charcoal-grilled Korean beef), offering a dining experience akin to a Korean table d'hote. Daegu Stadium is a sports stadium located in Daeheung-dong, Suseong-gu in Daegu. Construction of the stadium began on July 28, 1997 and was completed on May 20, 2001. Its roof is designed to resemble a globe, incorporating the beautiful curves found in the roofs of traditional Korean houses.
The stadium seats approximately 66,000 people and is suitable for hosting large-scale international sports games and 74% of the seats are protected by a Teflon-coated overhang. The 47,407 square meter stadium has three stories below ground and three above ground floors and is built on a 512,479 square meters of land just 9 kilometers southeast of the city’s downtown area.
Stadium facilities include a gymnasium, baseball field, indoor ice rink, horseback riding track, tennis court, fitness center, shooting range, archery range, skateboard park, and an indoor jogging course. There are smaller buildings for taekwondo, judo, and rock climbing.
Daegu Stadium has hosted a number of 2002 FIFA World Cup matches; Senegal vs. Denmark (June 6), Slovenia vs. South Africa (June 8), Korea vs. U.S.A. (June 10) and Korea vs. Republic of Turkiye (June 29).
