Located in Eoleumgol, Milyang, Gyeongsangnam-do, Hyangudang is an old house built in 1900. It consists of a wide grass lawn, a main building, a detached building, and an annex. The main building is composed of main hall (daecheong maru), underfloor heating system, a kitchen, and an attic; the detached building, meanwhile, includes underfloor heating, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Both main building and detached building have two rooms (big room and small room). If you book the big room, you can use the maru (living room) between the rooms as well. It is a rule that if a group stays in the big room, the small room is kept empty. A big group, however, may pay extra to use the small room as well. There is a seminar room with a beam projector and audio equipment, which can be utilized for group events. The owner runs not just Hyangudang Hanok Stay but also several farms. Thus, guests can participate in various activities using natural materials such as apple picking, magnolia tea making, natural dye making, and others. The closed school right next to Hyangudang is usually used as a parking lot but can also serve other purposes such as outdoor parties or simple sport matches. Special events such as apples offered at discounted prices to guests take place depending on the season.

Seokgolsa Temple, located on Unmunsan Mountain in Miryang, is surrounded by a series of peaks including Unmunsan Mountain to the north, Gajisan Mountain to the east, and Eoksan Mountain to the west. Surrounded by the beautiful natural environment between Gajisan Provincial Park and Unmunsan Mountain National Park, Eoreumgol Hanok Pension is a traditional hanok pension that offers three guest rooms. The area around Sannae-myeon, Miryang-si where Eoleumgol Hanok Pension is located is over 1,000 meters above sea level, which is why it gained the nickname of "Yeongnam Alps." Eoreumgol Hanok Pension is also located 400 meters above sea level. In the open front yard, you can see a magnificent view of wavy mountain ridges. There are three guest rooms available. One guest house can accommodate up to six guests. The pension was constructed according to the traditional hanok architectural method. The walls are coated with red clay, and hemp cloth mixed with red clay and charcoal powder is put on the ground. From the window bars to doors and rafters, the beauty and charm of hanok is visible everywhere. You can feel healing simply by staying inside the rooms. Although the pension is comprised of hanok houses, it is equipped with modern kitchens and bathrooms for convenience. There is an outdoor swimming pool in front of the front yard. The pension had a separate outdoor barbecue area and you can enjoy traditional games like trundling along a loop, jegi-chagi (hacky sack), and tuho (arrow-throwing). A nearby orchard offers an apple picking program in the harvest season, and the chestnut picking event that takes place in the 16,000+ m2 chestnut forest beyond the pension is open for all guests for free. Eoreumgol Hanok Pension also operates an outdoor camping site.

Unmunsan Mountain (1,118 meters) is one of the seven mountains rising over 1,000 meters above sea level in the Yeongnam Alps in the Taebaeksanmaek Mountain Range. Unmunsan Mountain features dense groves, attracting a large number of hikers. From the summit, one can get a great view of the golden reeds on Cheonhwangsan Mountain to the south, and the ridges of Gajisan Mountain to the east.

There are various sized temples and hermitages on the mountain, nestled among a splendid landscape. Unmunsa Temple is situated at the foot of the mountain on the northern side. It was built by Sinseung in the 18th year of the reign of King Jinheung (557) of the Silla Kingdom. Though some buildings burned down during the Imjin War, the Obaengnahanjeon Hall and Gwaneumjeon Hall have been preserved in their original state. The dense groves of pine trees and fir trees add to the tranquility of the beautiful scenery. In the temple, seven treasures are kept, including the Stone Lantern at Geumdang Hall (Treasure). The historic relics date back to the Silla kingdom and Goryeo dynasty.

Just north of Jaeyaksan Mountain, Eoreumgol Valley (Ice Valley) sits at an elevation between 600 and 750 meters and covers an area of 29,752m². Designated as Natural Monument No. 224, the valley is unusual in that it begins to freeze in March when the weather becomes warm and thaws in the fall when the weather becomes cold. In the winter, the valley generates warm breezes and the water rarely freezes. Because of these unique attributes, the valley is considered one of the Four Mysteries in Miryang and attracts visitors from early summer through fall.

Hobaksogyegok Valley is located within Gajisan Mountain approximately 3 kilometers away from Eoreumgol Valley in Jaeyaksan Mountain, where the water originates. The valley offers beautiful surroundings and clear water developed over the years. Hobakso Pond, shape like a grain-grinding tool, is located at the base of a 10-meter-high waterfall. With a circumference of 30 meters, the pond is also called Sirye Hobakso Pond, Guyeongpokpo Falls, and Baengnyeonpokpo Falls. In the past, the pond was a spiritual place where people would pray for rain. Surrounded by white granite rocks, the area is a scenic place of natural beauty, free from pollution. Unmunsa Temple in Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do belongs to Cheongdo-gun in terms of administrative district. However, it is actually more closely connected to Daegu in terms of traffic and lifestyle. Unmunsa Temple was built in 560 during the Silla period. This ancient temple features seven treasured artifacts including the Weeping Pine Tree (Natural Monument No. 180) and stone lantern. There are four small hermitages (Sariam, Naewonam, Bukdaeam and Cheongsinam) around the temple. Moreover, the surrounding forest of pine and fir trees only enhances the temple’s beauty.

Unmunsa is the largest Buddhist nunnery in Korea, maintaining a capacity of roughly 260 bhikkhunis, or Buddhist nuns, who practice Buddhism in a four-year term. But, thanks to its magnificence and lush forest, Unmunsan Mountain, located on the southernmost part of Taebaek Mountain range, has become a favorite spot for many tourists.

Pyochungsa Temple is located at the base of Jaeyaksan Mountain, 20 kilometers east of Miryang. The temple was originally founded by Monk Wonhyo in the 1st year of King Muyeol in Silla period under the name Junnimgsa Temple, then expanded and renamed by a monk from India in the fourth year of King Heungdeok’s reign of the Silla period. Nearby attractions include Cheungcheungpokpo Falls, Geumgangpokpo Falls, and Eoreumgol Ice Valley, as well as Sajapyeong Plain at the ridge of the mountain.
