Hotel Nongshim is a tourist hotel located in Dongnae-gu Hot Spring District, Busan. The hotel was one of the first modern hotels to be built in the area and has received much attention from both domestic and international guests. After undergoing renovations in August 2002, Hotel Nongshim reopened as a 5-star tourist hotel with 240 guestrooms. Throughout its 50-year history, the hotel has had the privilege of welcoming many prominent guests and has even served as the designated hotel for members of the 2005 APEC summit. Opened on June 10, 1994, the Busan Marine Natural History Museum is the first and largest museum of its kind in Korea. The museum features some 25,000 marine specimens from over 100 countries around the world, including rare living species and those native to Korea. The museum opened a second exhibition hall in April 2003, and launched the Busan Fishing Village Folk Museum on February 23, 2007.

It serves gelato ice cream wrapped in a thin skin of sweet rice cake, and its appearance resembles steamed buns or sweet rice cake with red bean filling. The signature menu here is roasted pistachio. Customers can pick their favorite filling, from roasted pistachio to other fillings like Jeju green tea and coffee-cinnamon cookies. The cake is served on a small wooden plate, so it is perfect for posting on social media feeds. However, due to the immense popularity, the store sets a limit on how many one can buy and subject to early closure when they run out ingredients. The store doesn’t have any seating tables and usually have a long waiting line so visitors are advised to visit early.
