DOMOHEON, the former residence of the Busan Mayor, was transformed into a cultural space and opened to the public in September 2024. The establishment includes a cultural space, shared office, café, lecture hall, meeting room, and various other convenience facilities. It also features a living garden, which is the first living garden in Busan. In the past, it was also referred to as the local Cheong Wa Dae creating an authoritative image. However, with the recent remodeling, it has now become a welcoming space for the public to relax and enjoy cultural activities.

Ahopsan Forest (아홉산숲)

Ahopsan Forest is a forest located at the foot of Ahopsan Mountain in Cheolma-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan. It is a place where visitors can meet the undamaged natural environment and ecology. Diverse forests ㅡsuch as bamboo forests, cypress forests, cedar trees, ginkgo trees, and natural forests, including Geumgang pine trees aged 100 to 300 years, make up Ahopsan Mountain. It is a private forest with a total area of 520,000 square meters and has been there for about 400 years. Only a limited number of people who have made a reservation in advance are allowed to enter for nature conservation. Unlike amusement parks and recreation areas, viewing is possible only within the limits that do not damage nature. However, forest experiences, activity programs for children, and forest explanation program are offered for visitors' entertainment.

Site of Dongnaeeupseong Walled Town (동래읍성지)

Site of Dongnaeeupseong Walled Town, built towards the end of the Goryeo dynasty and the early Joseon dynasty, was a significant fortress during the Imjin War in 1592. It served as the main battleground where civilians, officials, and soldiers united to resist the Japanese forces. Recognizing the strategic importance of the Dongnae area, a much larger fortress was constructed in 1731, replacing the original structure from one built during war. Today, only traces of the fortress remain, with the Bukmun Gate, Insaengmun Gate, Dongjangdae Command Post, Seojangdae Command Post, and Bukjangdae Command Post having been restored.

The "jeongsa" of Hyewonjeongsa Temple refers to a temple, meaning a place where practitioners dwell and dedicate themselves to spiritual cultivation. It houses various halls such as Daeungbojeon, Manbuljeon, Samseonggak, Bell Pavilion, Yosachae, and Statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Bokcheon Museum, an archaeological museum in Busan, opened its doors to the public on October 5, 1996 as a tribute to the long-honored history of Busan from the Samhan Era to the Three Kingdoms Era. The museum displays relics and artifacts excavated from the ancient burial ground in Bokcheon-dong. As many as 169 artifact pieces, including diverse earthenware, weapons, and ruins, found in a series of seven excavations are on display throughout the museum. The array of relics and tombs discovered in the Ancient Tombs in Bokcheon-dong, designated as Historic Site No. 273, are essential to solving the mystery of the Gaya Kingdom, which remains an uncharted, secret land.

Since opening, the museum has been conducting further research at the site of the burial grounds and remains in the local area to better understand the antiquated history and culture of Busan as well as the ancient kingdom of Gaya. The museum, as a reputable venue for historical education and exploration, also holds academic seminars and special exhibitions to share the research results and achievements with scholars and the community alike.

Igidae Cliff is a geological park located along the southern coast of Busan. Busan Healing Forest is the first “healing forest” to be founded in the Gyeongsang-do region. This place is where visitors can reflect on emotions and relax through various wellness programs surrounded by nature and healing energy. Programs tailored to various audiences are operated in multiple places found along the central trail: the Forest Library, Mind Sharing Site, Forest Healing Yard, Forest Meditation Site, Pine Wind Bathing Site, and Prenatal Education Forest.
