Solmaru Trail, an "Eco path of Ulsan" that connects the people with Mother Nature, is a 24-kilometer urban circuit walk that starts from Seonam Lake Park and connects to Sinseonsan Mountain, Daegongwonsan Mountain, Munsu International Archery Range, Solmaru Haneul Road, Samhosan Mountain and Namsan Mountain. Climbing up to Sinseonjeong Pavilion on top of Sinseonsan Mountain, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Seonam Lake Park. The Daegongwonsan Mountain section features a gradual incline through a thick pine tree forest and is easily accessible as the route is connected to the city.

Sinjung Pyunghwa Market was established in August 1985 with the construction of a commercial building consisting of one basement level and two above-ground floors, totaling 2,453㎡. Located in the heart of the old residential district of Sinjeong-dong, it has faithfully served its role as a local marketplace ever since. Nestled between apartment complexes and residential areas, the market is easily accessible on foot, particularly for local homemakers. Recently, the restrooms were repaired and renovated, and the building underwent repainting, waterproofing, and window refurbishment to improve the shopping environment. The Kids & Mom Sinjung Pyunghwa Youth Mall, a multi-purpose venue that combines youth start-up stores, cultural experiences, and community engagement, was created through a support initiative by Ulsan Nam-gu Office for aspiring entrepreneurs. Young merchants who open shops here are entitled to two years of rent support, as well as consultations and marketing assistance.

Ulsan Eonyang Bulgogi, which started in Dongbu-ri, Eonyang-eup in 1983 and was established in Samsan-dong, Nam-gu in 2016, is a restaurant specializing in grilled Korean beef and bulgogi that uses only 1+ grade Korean beef such as sirloin, boneless galbi, and top blade. Eonyang bulgogi is a local food of the Eonyang region, which is thinly sliced beef marinated in seasoning and grilled on a roasting net, unlike Seoul Bulgogi which is grilled with broth. It is a large restaurant with a wide space between tables and tables for groups, making it a good place for dining and family gatherings. Customers can see and purchase Korean beef at the meat section, giving the option of choosing the meat parts of their preference such as including special cuts such as thin skirts and inside skirts. Special lunch menus include the Eonyang Bulgogi Dolsot Jeongsik (hot stone pot rice set menu), doenjang jjiagae set menu, naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) set menu, and hanu gukbap (Korean beef and rice soup) set menu. All menus are served with basic grilled bulgogi, and various dishes such as vegetables for wraps, salad, kimchi, and japchae. There is no break on weekends. The Cultural Park and the canola flower field along the Taehwagang River are located nearby, so it is good to look around together.
