This festival celebrates Uljin's famous local specialty, snow crabs. It is the biggest local festival in the region with a goal to promote the excellency of Uljin snow crabs through a variety of events.

Uljin-gun’s southern most port of Hupohang has beautiful seaside scenery throughout the four seasons. Almost all of the fish caught in the East Sea can be seen at Hupohang Port. On the hill behind the port is the Hupo Lighthouse, which lights the waters for boats coming in at night, and its observatory provides a great view over the East sea during the day. Also, children’s playground and rest area are situated on top of the hill next to the lighthouse. On the opposite side of the hill, visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery of the 1,004-meter tall Baekamsan Mountain.

At dawn, visitors can tour Hupohang Park and look at the many freshly caught fish. Visitors can also buy fresh fish at extremely low prices. Furthermore, the Hupohang Port is known for its numerous raw fish restaurants and the hot springs are located nearby as well.

The Deunggisan Skywalk, a spectacular bridge towering 20 meters high and stretching 135 meters in length, is located behind Uljin Hupohang Port. A significant portion of the skywalk, measuring 57 meters, features tempered glass flooring. This transparent section offers an exhilarating experience, making visitors feel as though they are walking above the ocean as they gaze down at the blue sea below. Midway across the skywalk, one can view the Hupo Gatbawi Rock, renowned for its legend of granting a wish to those who see it. The journey across the skywalk culminates at the Hupo Lighthouse and Hupo Deunggisan Park, where visitors are greeted by the world-renowned lighthouse sculptures.

The 250-meter-long Hupo Beach is situated right by Hupohang Port. The combination of an expansive sandy beach and indigo blue waters of the East Sea creates a splendid view, drawing a large number of vacationers in the summer.

Hupohang Port is the main receiving and distributing port for fish caught in the East Sea. In the early morning, the port offers a great chance to not only see fish being hauled from boats to the fish market, but also to purchase fresh raw fish at an affordable price. On the hill north of Hupo Beach stands Hupo Lighthouse where one can get an unobstructed view of the East Sea and the Uljin area. Hupo Beach is one of the few beaches offering a splendid view of both the port and the lighthouse.

Gusan Beach, situated to the north of Wolsongjeong Pavilion, is a picturesque coastal spot stretching over 400 meters in length, with water depths reaching approximately two meters. This beach is celebrated for its clear waters, expansive stretches of white sand, gently sloping shores, and a surrounding lush pine forest, making it an ideal destination for family vacations. Visitors can enjoy swimming at the beach annually from mid-July to the end of August. Within the serene pine forest, visitors can find drinking fountains and campsites, offering a perfect setting for relaxation, shade, and forest bathing. In addition to the beach, the area boasts nearby attractions such as Wolsongjeong Pavilion, Aewolheon House, and the Myeonggyeseowon Confucian Academy.

Goraebul Beach is located in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Its fine white sands stretch for 8 kilometers giving way to clean seawaters, and it is shaded by a pine forest. The beach has various facilities for visitors' comfort including shower stalls, restroom, drinking fountain, snack bar and parking lot. Nearby tourist attractions include Wijeong Mineral Spring and Jangyuksa Temple. In Goesi-ri, there are many ancient buildings that can be seen throughout the area. Roughly 30 houses that are approximately 200 years old line the coastal drive. National Road number 7 heading north showcases almost all of the famous tourist attractions that line the East Sea.

Chilbosan National Recreational Forest is located west of Yongdeok. The mountain is known to have seven treasures, thus named Chilbo, or seven treasures in Korean. The seven treasures include rock moss, deodeok, wild ginseng, milk vetch root, wild boar, copper and iron. From the peak of the mountain, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the East Sea. Chilbosan National Recreational Forest serves as the perfect getaway with various facilities.

Located in the Baegam Hot Springs Tourist Zone, Baegam Springs Hotel in Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, opened in 1930 as the Baegam Inn, but has since been expanded and developed. The nearby spring emits alkaline water at a temperature of 50℃, which has health benefits for bathers. Other local attractions such as Wolsongjeong Pavilion, Manghyangjeong Pavilion, and Seongryu Cave are all 30 minutes away. Behind the hotel rises Baekamsan Mountain, with an excellent hiking course, and nearby is Shinson Valley with its ancient forest - making this a favourite base for walkers and hikers.

At the Baegam Hot Springs Special Tourist Zone, visitors can enjoy both the lush mountain terrain of the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range and the magnificent scenery of the East Sea.

The hot springs of Baegam are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region and are visited by travelers from across the nation. The water temperature reaches as high as 53 degrees Celsius and contains various minerals and elements, including a strong alkaline content. This makes the water effective in treating neuralgia, arthritis and apoplexy. Recently, it was reported that the water is also beneficial for those with atopic dermatitis, thereby attracting the elderly and families. Recreational facilities for children are also available.

The hot springs are located at the foot of the 1,004-meter-high Baegamsan Mountain. The mountain trails lead to Yeongyang and Bonghwa and are frequented by hikers. Densely covered with pine trees, the mountain also has plenty of deep valleys. Sinseon Valley, where, according to legend a dragon once lived, has an abundance of water flowing in different directions.

In the vicinity are Jukbyeon Port and Hupo Port, which are known for snow crabs, and Mangyangjeong Pavilion and Wolsongjeong Pavilion where one can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea.
