Paju’s Unification Village is located north of the Civilian Control Line (CCL). It has security tour locations, such as Panmunjeom, The 3rd Tunnel, and the Dora Observatory. The village is also famous for its agricultural products, such as Jangdan ginseng, Jangdan soybeans, and Jangdan rice, grown in the fertile and blessed nature of the area. Applications for Panmunjeom visits can be made a month in advance, starting from the 10th day of that month. Visitors are required to bring their passports for identification purposes. Nearby tourist sites include Imjingak Pavilion and Paju Book City.

Dae Jang Geum Park is the largest historical drama set of MBC in Korea, featuring various architectural sets reconstructed from different historical periods. It has served as the filming location for famous TV series like "Jumong," "Lee San, Wind of the Palace," and "The Great Queen Seondeok," as well as movies such as "The Face Reader" and "The Treacherous." Visitors can immerse themselves in history at the royal costume experience room, where they can wear traditional costumes and take photos on the various sets. Located within the Sobaeksan National Park, the Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory (SOAO) was the first astronomy observatory in Korea to install a modern telescope. SOAO is in a great location to observe the stars because it is located on the highest point of southern Korea and far away from the light pollution of cities. To enter the observatory as a private visitor, one must climb the mountain from Jungnyeong Pass or Huibangsa Temple.
