Samhakdo Cruise offers sightseeing cruises around the major attractions of Mokpo on the sea. During the day, they operate the Seascape City Tour, and in the evening, they offer Sunset and Fireworks Tours. Gaya Garden is adjacent to the Suncheon Bay National Garden, which was the first Ramsar Wetland Site in South Korea. Saseongam Hermitage is a hermitage located at the peak of Osan in Gurye (elevation 531m). It is estimated to have been built during the Baekje period (B.C. 18-A.D. 660). Many people visit it to see the sanctuary where the 53 statues of the Buddhist Avatamsaka Sutra are enshrined. The view of the Seomjingang River and the village from the temple is magnificent, and the refreshing breeze feels as if it penetrates through one's body, leading to its designation as a scenic spot in August 2014.

Located at the heart of maritime transportation connecting Sorokdo Island, Geomundo Island, and Jeju-do, Nokdong Port serves as a pivotal harbor. Annually in May, the Nokdong Maritime Fireworks Festival and Music Festival take place at the port. From May to November, every Saturday evening, a drone show is held against the backdrop of the night sea at Nokdong Port. Surrounding the harbor are a passenger terminal and a traditional market where various seafood products from the nearby waters of Goheung are sold at affordable prices.
