Seodaejeon Park is located at the site of a previous military base that closed in 1975. The site served as the venue for the 1993 Daejeon Expo, and was turned into the current park visitors see now at that time. The park features a large grassy field, outdoor performance stage, and more. The park serves as the venue for various festivals throughtout the year, including a Children's Day event and Kalguksu festival.

Songdo Dog Park, located within Songdo-dong Dalbit Festival Park, is a free pet playground open to all pets who are up-to-date on their vaccinations and are microchipped. The Giheunghosu Lake Park Pet Playground is a large play area set up for citizens and their canine companions to run around freely. The playground is divided into different sections for large and small breeds for safety. All pet owers using the park must ensure they have waste disposal bags and a leash before entering, and must clean up after their pets. Please note that for sanitary reasons, the use of picnic mats and food is not permitted within the playground.

This is where the residents of Gongjin Village live, with Hongbanjang's house on the sea side and Hyejin's house on the hill. Jidong Mural Village is a neighborhood with many winding alleys where Kuk Yeonsoo lived.
