Saryeoni Forest Trail cuts through the dense Japanese cedar forest growing between Mulchat Oreum and Saryeoni Oreum, starting from the entrance on Regional Road 1112. While the vast majority of the trees growing here are Japanese cedar, visitors can also see Japanese oak, birch, snowbell trees, and cypress trees along this 550-meter-long trail. The forest trail is known as one of Jeju's top 31 hidden attractions, and is well-known as being very protected. It is very popular among tourists who enjoy hiking and the outdoors.

Bellongjang Market is a local flea market open to visitors and the local community that takes place in the small village of Sehwa-ri. The flea market takes place on Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00, except on the 5th,10th,15th, 20th, 25th and 30th of the month, when the Fifth-Day Market opens. Sehwa Fifth-day Market is one of the largest of its kind in eastern Jeju. Being a fifth-day market, it only opens on days ending in 5 or 0. It is at its busiest before noon, with many stores closing their doors by 14:00. This market offers an interesting glimpse into the lives of Jeju locals with its dazzling array of Jeju’s pride, seafood, along with stalls offering lifestyle goods, food, and side dishes. Don’t miss the Manna Sikdang here: This joint is famous for its tteokbokki, stir-fried rice cake, one of the most beloved snack dishes in Korea. There are other places offering snack fare near Manna Sikdang, so visitors are recommended to drop by and sample some Korean favorites. Note that Sehwa Fifth-day Market is situated to the left of Sehwahaebyeon Beach, so one can easily visit the two when in the area.

Situated in the east of Hwabuk 1-dong and along the coast, Byeoldobong is a parasitic mountain made of siliciclastic sedimentary rocks and lava. Its northern slope is dominated by steep cliffs where a large rock called Jasalbawi Rock (Suicide Rock) is located. At the bottom of the cliffs are Goraegul Cave (Whale Cave) and an oddly-shaped rock that looks like a mother carrying her child on her back.

Despite being only 136m high, Byeoldobong is home to Jangsu Trail, a walking path that stretches over 1.8km around coastal cliffs, overlooking the ocean. Considered the most pleasant trail on Jeju Island, it offers a spectacular view of numerous peaks, Jeju Port and its nearby villages, and the emerald-blue sea. Naturally, it is a popular tourist destination for family visitors and couples.
