Jalppajin Memil is a traditional Korean restaurant in Seochon where you can enjoy buckwheat noodles, boiled pork slices, and unrefined rice wine. Whanki Art Museum exhibits the works of Kim Whanki (1913-1974), the pioneer of Korean abstract art. Kim was inspired by traditional features such as Korean mountains and streams, the sky, moons and clouds, the white porcelain and traditional patterns, and worked to express them in abstract forms through points, lines, and surfaces. The main collection features nearly 300 works by Kim. One can also find an art shop and a café.

Gangseo Myeonok has been famous for over fifty years, having been the food of choice served to visiting dignitaries from North Korea at the time of the South-North Red Cross Conference. The restaurant has succeeded in carrying on the tradition of Pyeongyang-style naengmyeon. The native buckwheat from Gangwon-do mixed with starch makes for fine noodles, and the wonderful broth is made from beef brisket with white radish kimchi.
