Opened in December of 2007, Gwanaksan Ecological Park is located on a 76,521 m² plot of land. The park is divided into two sections: Eco Forest, a forest of broad-leaved trees, and Eco Pond, a habitat of aquatic animals. There is also an arboretum that provides space for relaxation and ecology experience.

Iryeong Station (일영역)

Iryeong Station is a train station that once served the Gyooe Line north of Seoul.
Passenger services ceased in 2004, and after the station master retired in 2013, it saw only occasional freight traffic before closing. In 2025, plans to reopen the line led to the restoration and reopening of the original station building, which now also houses a tourist information center displaying artifacts that showcase the railway line's past.

With its weathered signs and grass growing along the tracks, Iryeong Station has become a memorable tourist destination accessible from Seoul and a filming location for many movies, commercials, and music videos. One notable example is the 2001 film "My Sassy Girl (2001)," in which The Girl (Jun Ji-hyun) and Gyeon-woo (Cha Tae-hyun) bury a time capsule together at the station before going their separate ways.

Gildong Ecological Park was founded by the Seoul government by restoring the wetland on the side of Cheonho-daero. The park maintains and preserves a wide range of flora and fauna in their natural habitats, allowing park visitors to observe plants, animals and insects in a natural ecosystem, and to learn about the importance of nature conservation.

The 80,683 ㎡ park is divided into a wetland zone, forest zone, and grassland zone. Amenities include an outdoor classroom, outdoor exhibition space, observation deck, pergolas, and more. The bird observation platform in particular is a great way to birdwatch in the urban landscape.

Suraksan Mountain (수락산)

In the springtime, the ridge between Suraksan Mountain and Buramsan Mountain is covered with gorgeous royal azalea blossoms.

Anyang Art Park, formerly known as Anyang Recreational Park, is an easily accessible, well-maintained cultural space. The Chunghyeon Museum preserves the legacy of the respected scholar Ori Lee Wonik. The museum's logo is inspired by the scholar's signature on a letter that he wrote four years before his death, addressed to his son Lee Uijeon, grandson Lee Suyak, and successive descendants.
