Seorae Village is located in between Banpo 4-dong and Bangbaebon-dong in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Seorae Village took its form as a French neighborhood when French residents moved to the area after Ecole Francaise de Seoul, a school for French residents in Korea, was established here in 1985. According to 2008 census, about half of the total 1,000 French citizens residing in Korea were registered to be living in Seorae Village. The area naturally took shape as a global neighborhood as many international residents settled at Seorae Village much thanks to the strong presence of French residents. In addition to its convenient location near the central district area as well as Gangnam area and Hangang River Park, Seorae Village serves as a pleasant environment space for all.

Many shops and restaurants in Seorae Village are small in size and rather charming, resembling those in Europe. A bakery that makes traditional French baguettes using ingredients directly imported from France can be found here. In recent years, Seorae Village has undergone several changes, gaining much attention as one of the most modern and fanciest regions found in Seoul.

Songpa Naru Park, also commonly referred to as Seokchonhosu Lake, is a citizen park in Seoul with a jogging course and walking trails. It has two lakes with Songpa-daero Boulevard running in between. Originally, a branch of the Hangang River ran through the site, forming one large lake, but the lake was divided into two with the construction of Songpa-daero Boulevard. The total size of the two lakes is 217,850 ㎡, and they hold about 737 tons of water. The depth of the lakes is 4-5 meters.

Gyeongnidan Street refers to the 937-meter-long road from the main gate of MND Financial Management Corps to Grand Hyatt Seoul as well as all of the nearby streets and alleys. It is called Gyeongnidan Street because the Korean army's central finance corps, or Gyeongnidan in Korean, used to be located here, and has gained fame for presenting a different vibe than that of Itaewon despite being part of Itaewon-dong. Gyeongnidan Street is an area of culture and youth where people are able to enjoy diverse and special cuisine and dishes at unique restaurants and cafes. Cheonggyecheon Museum officially opened in October 2005. The museum’s long, glass exterior represents the flowing waters of Cheonggyecheon Stream, which runs through the heart of Seoul. The museum contains visual representations of Seoul before and after the transition of Cheonggyecheon Stream.
