Opened in 2003, Resort Spavalley is a hot spring and sauna facility located in Naengcheon-ri, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun. The building's first floor has a gym, a souvenir shop, and other stores. The second floor features a Bade (meaning bathing) pool, a children's pool, the Samhap experience room, the UK-Ball jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), a fast food store, a cave-like jjimjilbang, and a sleeping room. On the fourth floor, there is a large hot spring bath area (Yin-Yang & Five Elements Bath), a UK-Ball sauna; a red clay sleeping room, an outdoor bath, an outdoor water park with a wave pool, a lazy river, water slides (body slide and tube slide), a water polo pool, and a diving pool.
Spavalley's hot spring sauna consists of the Yin-Yang & Five Elements Bath and the UK-ball Sauna. The former consists of various baths beneficial to one's health and can improve the body's natural rhythm. These baths are a combination of traditional Eastern medicine, ancient folk remedies derived from life experiences, and remedies that utilize natural energy. They are themed around bamboo, Indian madar, juniper, and mulberry. The UK-Ball sauna features UK-Ball, a new material that emits energy (ki). Based on yin & yang harmony and the five elements, this sauna can effectively detoxify the body and remove waste, while significantly improving skin beauty and body shape. It also promotes blood circulation and boosts metabolism, giving guests a refreshing sauna experience.
