Damyang Changpyeong Samjinae Village was the first Korean place designated as a slow city in 2007. Compared with the fast-changing city life, the village seeks a slow life, experiencing regional cultures and food, surrounded by nature. Oryukdo Sunrise Park, situated in the Yongho-dong area of Busan, offers a breathtaking view of the vast sea, especially in spring when the fields are covered with daffodils and canola flowers. Oryukdo Skywalk, a 15-meter-long glass bridge above the sea, provides the best view of Oryukdo Islets. This is also the place where the East Sea and the South Sea meet, known as Jallokgae or Seungdumal. Visitors can find a signboard below the skywalk marking the point where the east and south sea meet. From here, the Haeparang Trail stretches 770 kilometers along the East Sea and Namparang Trail stretches 1,463 kilometers along the South Sea.

Yi Chungmugong's Byeokpajin Battle Monument, located at Byeokpajeong was built to commemorate the victory of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and honor the souls of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the battle of Myeongnyang. The epitaph of the monument, penned by Lee Eunsang, features the calligraphy by Son Jae Hyeong. Although just a small fishing port now, Byeokpajin was a crucial port connecting Jindo and Haenam before the Jindo Bridge was built in 1984. It still holds a great historical significance.
