Puksuwon Spaplex offers a relaxing escape for visitors with its spacious spa area and natural hot spring water. The facility uses alkaline water with a pH of 9.25. This mineral-rich spring water contains calcium, potassium, sulfuric acid, and iron, which are beneficial for relieving muscle pain, neuralgia, and skin conditions. Located in the Imjingak Tourist Complex, the Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola is Korea’s first gondola to cross over the Civilian Control Zone. Connecting Imjingak Resort and Camp Greaves, the gondola is part of the peace and security tourism initiative, offering visitors a unique perspective on DMZ’s history and natural landscapes. As visitors glide across the river, they can see the barbed wire fences, surveillance posts, and other remnants of division. In addition to the general cabin, visitors can enjoy the transparent crystal cabin, which provides a unique and memorable experience.

Bamseom Island (Ecosystem Conservation Area) (밤섬 생태경관 보전지역)

Located at the Hangang River, Bamseom Island derives its name from its chestnut-like shape (bam in Korean). The island was designated as an Ecosystem Conservation Area by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 1999 and was later recognized as Ramsar Wetland in 2012. Now an uninhabited island, Bamseom Island was once home to around 443 people, who were relocated after the island was exploded as part of the Yeouido Development Project. Today, it is known as a habitat for numerous migratory birds and plant species. People can enjoy views of the Island from Bamseom Park.

Geobukseom Island is an artificial island built in the Multi Techno Valley in Siheung. The island's name means Turtle Island as a reference to the island's shape inspired by turtles. The main landmark of Geobukseom Island is Asia's first and the world's largest surf pool Wave Park. Gwangchigi Beach (광치기해변)

Located on the way from Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone to Seopjikoji, Gwangchigi Beach marks the end point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 1 and the starting point of Route 2. It is known for its unique geological formation, where hot lava cools down immediately upon meeting the sea. During low tides, visitors can see hidden scenic spots. The frozen lava covered with green moss, creates a spectacular view. In particular, the stunning sunrise view with Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone in the backdrop attracts a lot of visitors. Yongsu Port (용수항)

Yongsu Port is a small fisihing port located in the Yongsu-ri area of Jeju. It marks the end point of the Jeju Olle Trail Route 12 and the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 13. The port offers a beautiful blue silhouette view of Chagwido Island, the biggest uninhabited island in Jeju. On both sides of the village, visitors can find Bangsatap towers, which are believed to protect the village.

Kansong House (간송옛집)

The 100-year-old traditional hanok Kansong House sits by the burial mound of Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil (1906-1962), who played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritages of Korea during the Japanese colonial period. This house was orginally built by Kansong's adoptive father Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) to us as a storage facilities for harvested agriculture from the northern Gyeonggi-do and Hwanghae. After his father's death, Kansong used the house as a ritual house for his father and often stayed here. Some damages were done to the house during the Korean War, and partial repair was made after his death.

The village became well known after getting featured in various dramas and movies, including the popular drama “Fight My Way (2017).” Another highlight of Hocehon Village is the 180-step staircase adorned with a stunning fish mural. The Hocheon Village Cultural Platform at the Village provides residents and creators with opportunities to sell their products and participate in cultural experiences and educational activities.
