Desde la cima del pico Sarabong, los visitantes pueden ver el océano hacia el norte y el magnífico monte Hallasan hacia el sur. Organice su caminata para llegar a la cima a última hora de la tarde para ver el resplandor rojizo de la puesta de sol que brilla en el océano.

El Arboreto Halla fue establecido con fines de estudio y preservación del medio ambiente. Abierto en diciembre de 1993, se ubica en las cercanías de Gwangioreum. Aquí se hallan en exhibición 909 especies, nativas de la región de la isla Jeju, de árboles y plantas subtropicales. En los jardines crecen 506 especies de árboles y 90 especies de plantas, y dentro del vivero hay una Sala de Plantas Subtropicales con 105 especies y otra Sala de Plantas Nativas con 103 especies, sumando un total de 208 clases de vida vegetal. Asimismo hay 2.722 tocones de plantas en peligro de extinción y especies raras que solo crecen en el estanque Cheonjiyeon.
