"La Casa Vieja" es un tipo de alojamiento al estilo tradicional de Corea que está
situado en el centro de una pequeña aldea llamada Dorae de la Ciudad de Naju de
Jeonnam. El terreno de la residencia fue comprada por las donaciones de los ciudadanos
y está considerada como el Patrimonio Cívico-Cultural. La Casa Vieja se encuentra rodeada
de un muro de piedra que la separa de las casas tradicionales designadas como patrimonios
y conserva hasta ahora el ambiente tradicional de la aldea.
Construida en el año 1936, la residencia presenta un diseño diferente a las casas comunes
de aquel tiempo pero manteniendo las características principales de una casa tradicional
de Corea. La cocina cuenta con suficientes cajones para guardar artículos de cocina.
El Munganchae, un espacio de 4 habitaciones en forma de L, ahora es utilizado como
oficina y el almacen de abonos ahora es la habitación para huéspedes.
En La Casa Vieja, además de alojarse, los visitantes podrán realizar diversas actividades
tadicionales como hacer soga de paja, preparar la gacha de frijoles,
elaborar meju(puré de soja disecada),etc.

Tteokgalbibonga, known for its signature tteokgalbi, has become quite famous in the area. With its exquisite resemblance to injeolmi (rice cakes coated with powdered soybeans) and the way it melts in your mouth, it’s no wonder Tteokgalbibonga attracts guests from as far as Japan.
Tteokgalbi gets its name from its resemblance to rice cakes, or tteok. In addition to its texture, its savory marinade brings out the meaty flavor of tteokgalbi. Aside from their main dish, hanu (Korean beef) tteokgalbi, they also have dwaejigalbi, bulgogi, and galbi tang available, served with regular side dishes of a Korean set menu, even including a dessert.
