Parque Waryong (와룡공원)

Es un parque inaugurado en el año 1984, que se encuentra ubicado en el barrio de Myeongnyung-dong, distrito de Jongno-gu, Seúl. Lo encontrará bajando desde la roca Malbawi, por el camino de la Muralla de Seúl. En sus cercanías están ubicados los parques: Samcheong, Changgyeong, y el Parque Natural del Monte Bugaksan. Presenta la forma de un dragón acostado, que es de donde proviene el nombre “Waryong” (significa dragón acostado según los caracteres chinos).

La poca profundidad de tierra que tenía el parque dificultaba la forestación, por lo que solo disponía de algunas acacias. Pero mediante la participación de los ciudadanos en una campaña de plantar mil árboles, se ha logrado convertirlo en un parque verde y abundante.

En particular, en la época primaveral se cubre de flores de todo tipo: de la colza, del albaricoque, de la azalea, de la forsitia, etc., y consta de instalaciones deportivas como campo de bádminton, centro de aeróbics y gimnasio, entre otros.

Mijin is a restaurant specializing in spicy hot baby octopus and cool buckwheat dishes. Opened in 1954, the restaurant's 50-year history is a testament to the great taste of its dishes and the charm of the restaurant.

The main ingredient, buckwheat, is delivered daily from Bongpyeong, the largest buckwheat producing region in Korea. Baby octopus is also delivered every morning from ports in Yeosu. Families and workers of surrounding companies are major customers of the restaurant, but celebrities and politicians also come to the restaurant to taste its food. Memilmuk (Buckwheat Jelly) and pancakes made with buckwheat and green onion are also delicacies of the restaurant.

Conserva aproximadamente 490.000 libros, 16.300 materiales no textuales, etc., y, en el edificio anexo podrá encontrarse con más de 12.000 materiales académicos. Su finalidad es contribuir en la educación y en el desarrollo cultural, ofreciendo información actualizada, fuentes de estudio y cultural a los ciudadanos de Seúl. Más allá de ofrecer el servicio de alquiler de textos y funcionar como un espacio de lectura, también realiza variedad de programas culturales; encuentro con autores, exposición fotográfica, club de lectura, teatro de marionetas, concierto musical, espectáculo de danzas, etc. La otra gran diversión de la biblioteca es la función de películas.
