Situado dentro del Arboreto Ecológico Arachnopia, el Museo de Arañas Joopil es el único museo de arañas del mundo. Fue fundado el 1° de mayo de 2004 por el Dr. Kim Joopil, un profesor de biología de la Universidad Dongguk tras viajar por todo el mundo para recolectar y estudiar arañas.

El museo tiene dos edificios: el edificio principal muestra distintas especies de arañas, una sala de cría de arañas y fósiles. La segunda planta tiene alrededor de 1.000 especies en exposición. En la estación observatoria de la segunda planta del edificio anexo, los visitantes pueden ver la anatomía de las arañas con microscopios.
