Arroyo Namdaecheon (남대천)

El municipio de Yangyang celebra un festival dedicado a las setas de pino songi y al salmón. Estas setas crecen debajo de los pinos adultos, en ocasiones son nombrados como “setas de oro”, debido a que precisan un ambiente y cuidado especial. Yangyang es famoso por su producción de setas de pino de alta calidad y por su almacenamiento estricto de los productos. Este festival ofrece la oportunidad de conocer más a fondo el ambiente de producción de las setas y también permite participar en su recolección. Hay platos deliciosos con aromas peculiares preparados con estas setas. También hay platos de salmón, que se captura en la región.

Parque Nacional Seoraksan (Namseorak) (설악산국립공원(남설악))

El monte Seoraksan, el más alto de la cordillera Taebaeksanmaek, está lleno de hermosos paisajes y grandes vistas todo el año. Al este de las cordilleras Hangyeryeong y Misiryeong, este monte recibe el nombre de Oeseorak y al oeste, el de Naeseorak. La zona al sur es conocida como Namseorak.
