Old Guam Seowon is a traditional Korean guesthouse located between Dongseong-ro and Seomun Market in Daegu. With land area of 2,300㎡, it has a total of six guestrooms, a shared living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Located downtown Daegu, Hanok 1957 is a traditional Korean hanok built with red pine and woven with clay and straw roof tiles. The rafters, beams, and cabinets inlaid with mother-of-pearl add comfort and tranquility to the interior. There are five guest rooms, all of which are ondol (underfloor heated) rooms with bathrooms. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook simple meals. Daegu Concert House (antiguamente, el Centro Comunitario de Daegu) es un teatro creado para eventos de todo tipo, situado en el distrito de Jung-gu, en Daegu. Abrió el 5 de octubre de 1975 y entre sus instalaciones se encuentran un teatro, una sala de lectura, y tres habitaciones para exposiciones.

El teatro dispone de 1618 asientos, un foso para orquestas, y un escenario giratorio para realizar diferentes eventos culturales y actuaciones. La pequeña sala de lectura tiene 342 asientos y se suele usar para pequeñas conferencias, reuniones o actuaciones. Las salas de exposiciones varían en su tamaño y se usan generalmente para exhibiciones especiales. En el vestíbulo del primer piso hay un bar y una cafetería. Otras de las instalaciones son los roperos, vestidores, sala de espera para artistas y una habitación VIP.

Miseongdang Napjak Mandu is the longest-running napjak mandu (flat mandu) restaurant in Daegu, first opened in 1963. The restaurant owners take pride in the taste of their mandu, keeping it the only type of mandu on the menu. They also sell noodle side dishes that go well with the mandu, including jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles), ramyeon, and udong (udon). What makes this restaurant's mandu special is the addition of sliced green onion, soy sauce, and Korean chili pepper flakes on top of the mandu.

El Mercado Seomun, conocido también como "Mercado Daegu-Keun", rebosa de historia. Junto con el Mercado Pyeongyang y el Mercado Gangyeong, fueron los tres principales mercados durante la dinastía Joseon. Se sitúa a tan solo 300 m de la puerta oeste de la ciudad, y de ahí su nombre de Mercado Seomun (mercado de la Puerta del Oeste). A pesar de su crecimiento, los nombres históricos de los callejones como Hongdukkaejeon y Daekjeon se han mantenido intactos. Las especialidades del mercado son los productos de seda, satén, lino, algodón, y ropa para hombre y mujer.
