El Museo de Bokcheon, un museo arqueológico de Busan, abrió sus puertas al público el 5 de octubre de 1996 como un tributo a la larga historia de Busan desde la Era Samhan hasta la Era Samguk (Tres Reinos). El museo muestra antigüedades de las tumbas ancestrales de Bokcheon-dong. Se exhiben 169 piezas extraídas de siete excavaciones: cascos, cerámicas y armas de hierro. Esta colección de antigüedades y tumbas, designadas como Sitio Histórico N° 237, son esenciales para comprender el misterio del Reino de Gaya, que aún resulta desconocido.
Desde su apertura, el museo ha efectuado investigaciones en las tumbas y restos de los alrededores, acerca del Reino de Gaya y la historia de Busan. El museo, como un prestigioso lugar de exploración y educación histórica, también alberga seminarios académicos y exhibiciones especiales para mostrar los resultados de sus estudios a la comunidad.

Se trata de una antigua fortaleza que se ubica tanto en terreno plano como montañoso. Fue levantada hacia finales de la dinastía Goryo y principios de Joseon y jugó un rol importante defensivo durante las invasiones japonesas de la Guerra de Imjin en 1592. Después de la guerra, la fortaleza fue abandonada hasta su restauración en 1731, que también incluyó una ampliación. La fortaleza cuenta con varias puertas y un muro adicional semicircular de piedra para proteger una de las entradas. Durante la ocupación japonesa de Corea, entre 1910 y 1945, la mayor parte de las murallas se deterioró, quedando en pie solo el tramo que cruza el monte Naansan. A partir de los años 2000, el Ayuntamiento de Busan ha hecho esfuerzos para conservar y restaurar el solar de la fortaleza.

Many years ago there was a restaurant (‘Jobang Nakji’) in front of the textile company Joseon-Bangjik (‘Jobang’) that was widely known for its tasty Nakji Bokkeum (spicy stir-fried baby octopus).
