Conçue en 1979 à Haenam dans la province du Jeollanam-do par la brasserie de Bohae, la ferme des prunes de Bohae (Bohae Maesil Nongwon) est la plus grande ferme de prunes vertes de Corée. Chaque printemps, lorsque les maehwa (le fruit des abricotiers du japon s’apparentant à des reines-claudes) fleurissent sur les arbres maesil, la brasserie ouvre ses portes au public, donnant la possibilité aux visiteurs d’admirer les magnifiques fleurs printanières et d’acheter des prunes vertes. En ce jour spécial, la brasserie produit et vend de nombreux produits faits à base de prunes locales.
