Temple Cheongansa (천간사)

Le temple Cheongansa fut construit en 1960 et re-construit en 2009. Il inclut de nombreuses pagodes et monuments : une pagode remplie de reliques sari de Bouddha ; une pagode Budotap, qui est un lieu de culte pour le moine qui a fondé le temple et ses reliques sacrées et un monument honorant la première dame Yuk yeong-su. Il fut décerné au temple le « prix du hanok 2011 » après sa reconstruction. Situé le long du chemin Dulle-gil sur le mont Bukhansan, le temple offre à ses visiteurs la chance d’apprécier un air pur et frais et un moment de repos avant de reprendre la randonnée.

Hanggyo renvoie aux structures éducatives durant la dynastie Joseon. A l’image des élèves du secondaire actuellement, Hanggyo était l’endroit où les enfants des officiers recevaient une éducation et où des rituels avaient lieu en mémoire de Confucius. L’école confucéenne de Yangcheon Hyanggyo était la seule école du genre à Séoul. Construite durant la 12ème année de règne du roi Taejong (1411), l’école fut entièrement rénovée en 1981. La structure comprenait initialement 8 bâtiments, incluant Daeseongjeon, Myeongryundang, Jeonsacheong, Dongjae, Seojae, Naesammun, et Waesammun.
