Imun Seolnongtang has been serving its hearty seolleongtang for over a hundred years since it first opened in 1907. Even its name has a long history: the word imun comes from Imun-gol, the now-obsolete name of the restaurant’s location, and seolnongtang, an old variation of the word seolleongtang. During the Japanese colonial rule, the restaurant’s regular customers included Gijeong Son, the marathon gold-medalist at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. To make the rich seolleongtang broth, beef meat and bones are simmered for more than 15 hours. Try putting rice and minced green onion in your seolleongtang for a warm and tasty experience. Le Musée d’art Hwangi (환기미술관) a été ouvert dans le but de rendre un hommage au peintre Kim Hwan-Gi (1913-1974), un des artistes coréens les plus réptés dans le style du modernisme.
Il commença par la peinture abstraite en 1930 et en 1950 en se servant de la nature comme inspiration afin de peindre les émotions de la Corée.

Hanggyo renvoie aux structures éducatives durant la dynastie Joseon. A l’image des élèves du secondaire actuellement, Hanggyo était l’endroit où les enfants des officiers recevaient une éducation et où des rituels avaient lieu en mémoire de Confucius. L’école confucéenne de Yangcheon Hyanggyo était la seule école du genre à Séoul. Construite durant la 12ème année de règne du roi Taejong (1411), l’école fut entièrement rénovée en 1981.
