Poom Seoul is a Korean restaurant serving traditional banga cuisine (cuisine of the royal or noble class) with a modern twist. The restaurant offers a different menu every season, using only the highest quality seasonal ingredients and placing priority on food safety, quality producers, and high meat grades. Diners can feel the care taken by the chef by the exquisite beauty and flavor of each dish that is served as part of the course meal.

Vegetarian course meals are also available and private rooms can be reserved for groups of 6 to 16 people. Diners must make their reservation and place their orders at least one day prior to visit.

Village des artistes de Mullae (문래창작촌)

Le quartier artistique de Mullae, situé dans l’arrondissement de Yeongdeungpo à Séoul, était autrefois connu comme le plus grand centre de l’industrie sidérurgique de la ville. Aujourd’hui, il s’est transformé en un espace où se côtoient ateliers métallurgiques et ateliers d’artistes.

En 2010, la Fondation culturelle de Séoul y a installé le Mullae Art Factory, un espace de création dédié aux artistes, attirant peu à peu des créateurs séduits par les loyers abordables et l’atmosphère singulière. Désormais appelé village des artistes de Mullae, le quartier regorge d’œuvres créées à partir de métal récupéré et d’anciens outils, installées un peu partout dans les rues. Entre les ateliers de métallurgie et les ateliers d’artistes, on peut admirer des fresques murales et des sculptures, faisant de ce lieu un site prisé pour prendre des photos au style vintage.

Le stand situé à l’intersection de Dangsan-ro et Dorim-ro 128-gil sert de point de repère emblématique. C’est notamment le week-end que l’on peut admirer les nombreuses œuvres peintes sur les rideaux métalliques des ateliers fermés.

Le quartier est également célèbre comme lieu de tournage de films tels que Avengers: L’Ère d’Ultron, The Man from Nowhere, The Mayor, ainsi que des séries et émissions coréennes comme Queen of Mystery 2 (KBS2) ou Hangout with Yoo (MBC).

Aujourd’hui, environ 100 ateliers abritant près de 200 artistes y sont encore installés, mais le quartier fait face à des enjeux de rénovation urbaine, ce qui réduit progressivement l’espace dédié aux activités artistiques.
