Spectacle reconnu dans le monde entier, « Drum Cat » entraîne les gens dans une frénésie de rythme et de fun. Drum Cat, créé en 2003, est un groupe de percussions féminin ayant emménagé dans son propre théatre exclusif seulement sept ans après son premier spectacle. 2008 fut une année importante pour le groupe, puisqu’il reçut les prix « Herald Angel » et le « Scotland Cavalcade Best Unit Award » du Festival d’Edimbourg 2008, soient les premiers remportés par une équipe coréenne. Lors de ce festival, les équipes furent classées selon leur accumulation de points techniques à travers nombre de concerts et spectacles. Les journalistes et membres du public furent tout simplement scotchés par la performance de Drum Cat. Le groupe n’a pas seulement continué de jouer à guichets fermés, il a aussi constamment reçu des notes 5 étoiles de la part des critiques et du jury du festival.

Drum Cat fit aussi un carton sensationnel en Corée, recevant le Grand Prix aux « 2009 Korea Entertainment Awards ». Le spectacle du groupe regorge de lignes rythmiques uniques et d’engagement émotionnel semblant si souvent catégoriser les spectacles les plus sensationnels de Corée. Les superbes techniques de percussion du groupe et la combinaison unique de son live et de son studio est un plaisir à la fois pour les yeux et pour les oreilles.

Drum Cat, spectacle mondialement renommé, continuera surement de faire son chemin dans le coeur du public dans les années à venir.

Située au coeur de Séoul, dans le quartier de Euljiro 3-ga, Myeongbo Art Hall possède une riche histoire et une réputation bâtie au fil de plus d'un demi-siècle. Autrefois cinéma Myeongbo, le bâtiment a été rénové et rouvert en 2008. Il est aujourd'hui devenu un complexe culturel composé principalement de salles de spectacles professionnelles.<br>

Ouvert en 1957, l'ancien cinéma Myeongbo a joué un rôle emblématique dans le développement de la culture moderne en Corée. Insadong Geujip, located in the famous neighbourhood of Insadong, is a Korean fusion restaurant that is particularly well known for its traditional, yet unique interior. Along with “Insadong Seafood Rice,” and “Insadong Geujip On Rice”, diners can find a range of delicacies including Hanbang Bossam (Herbal Napa Wraps with Pork), Savory Seafood & Spring Onion Pancake, and Kimchi Parae Pancake on the menu.

The restaurant's specialty, Geujip On Rice, a sort of Bibimbab made with a variety of seafood, vegetables and edible flowers and mixed together with rice and a red pepper paste called gochujang. The basic serving size is large enough to feed two.

The restaurant is housed in an old hanok (Korean traditional house) and has been carefully renovated to preserve the house’s traditional feel. Indoor lights wrapped with hanji, Korean traditional paper, shine a soft glow over the entire dining area and add to the overall ambience.

This restaurant's mandu is so popular that it sometimes gets sold out even before evening. Typical menu includes mandu-jeongol (hot pot) and mandu-guk (soup). The hot pot is made of various ingredients including mandu, rice cakes, mushrooms, and meat, and serves two to three persons. It has three guestrooms including the anbang (main room), byeolchae (detached building), and jakeunbang (small room). The anbang is the only room with a living room, where various items of old furniture, including a comfortable sofa, create an antique atmosphere. The communal bathroom and toilets are supplied with toiletries, while the communal kitchen is equipped with cooking equipment and a washing machine. The house can be rented either as individual accommodations or in its entirety. As it is situated in Jongno-gu, at the very heart of Seoul, guests can easily reach many nearby major tourist attractions. Car users are advised to use the public parking lot as the house has no parking spaces. Entering by a small gate, the little flowerbed comes into sight. This old hanok shows traces of repair works on the tiled roof.
