Le musée se trouve à côté du musée d’art Coreana qui expose de l’art moderne. Le complexe artistique et culturel Coreana contribue à l’éducation et à la recherche dans la culture des cosmétiques de la nation et présentant l’histoire des femmes en Corée, avec par exemple une exposition d’ustensiles de maquillage traditionnels. En 2006, pour commémorer le 120ème anniversaire des liens entre la France et la Corée, le musée a organisé au Centre Culturel Coréen de Paris une exposition spéciale nommée « Beauté semblable à la nature, culture des cosmétiques en Corée » qui a attiré beaucoup d’attention et de louanges.
