The main building in Seoul is a traditional Korean cultural space renovated by Jeong Yeong-jin, a human cultural asset, from a hanok with a history of 130 years. Traditional flags, fences, pavilions, chimneys, and jangdokdae are holding the blue sky with pine trees, creating a harmonious Korean-style house. Passing through the elegant tall gate, as you see the jangdokdae, a small but clean hanok will be revealed, and the pine trees and bamboo trees added to the natural beauty, while the loving Gomusin placed on the stone brings back beautiful memories.
Rakkojae is a place where the customs of the aristocrats in the past are melted in various places, creating a wonderful atmosphere by carefully reviving the pavilion, ponds, and daecheongmaru. Especially, Daecheongmaru adds the beauty of the margins of hanok to give you a sense of refreshment. As the old scholars did, sitting on the pavilion makes the time flow slow and the wind that passes over the Sotdae feels special.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located behind Seochon Food Street, located near Gyeongbokgung Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. It is located only 5 min away by foot from the station. Opening the door brings one to a small garden, furnished with stones and moss on a corner, and the interior also speaks to the unique combination of a modern hanok with contemporary sensibilities. The building is divided into the main building and annex building, with the former having two queen bedrooms connected by a living room and kitchen as well as two bathrooms.
The annex building is the hidden jewel of STAY dayoff, which houses a bathtub and a sauna facility behind a beautiful window wall. When the windows are opened, it is like being in an open-air bath overlooking the garden and the hanok. The standard occupancy of the house is 4, with a 10% discount available for guests staying for more than 2 nights on weekdays, and towel replacement and cleaning services are offered for guests staying for more than 4 nights.

Il s'agit du lieu qui servait d'assemblée lors de la venue du roi au sein du palais Changdeokgung. Le lieu acceuillait des événements importants comme la cérémonie d'accès au trône du roi, des cérémonies de félicitations pour les nobles, la réception d'invités de prestige venus de l'étranger, etc.

Le hall a été restauré en 1804 et permet d'apprécier le style architectural de la fin de la dynastie Joseon.

Rivière Cheonggyecheon (청계천)

La place Cheonggye est située à Sejong-ro au départ de la rivière Cheonggyecheon (batiment Dong-A Ilbo) jusqu'au pont Sindapcheolgyo. Elle mesure à peu près 160 m de long sur 50m de large avec une belle fontaine, une cascade artificielle et une réplique miniature de la rivière Cheonggyecheon sur le sol. On trouve aussi des affiches et des commentaires détaillés sur les 22 ponts qui enjambent la rivière ainsi qu'un certain nombre de fontaines qui décorent le site.Toute cette zone commémore le projet de restauration de la rivière et symbolise l'harmonie, la paix et l'unité.
Suite à la validation du projet de restauration de la place Cheonggye, le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul a réduit considérablement le traffic routier dans cette zone, offrant ainsi plus d'espaces de loisirs pour les piétons. Depuis lors, les zones riveraines de Cheonggyecheon et des rues environnantes sont devenues des lieux populaires pour se rafraîchir et rechercher la tranquilité. La fontaine “bougie” est l'installation vedette de ce site. Elle est composée de trois appareils d'éclairages différents et s’élève à 4 mètres de haut. L'installation est notamment composée de 8 rochers en provenance des 8 provinces du pays.
La place Cheonggye est particulièrement belle la nuit. En effet, les visiteurs peuvent admirer le spectacle fantastique de la lumière et l'eau même la nuit.

Musée d’art de Bukchon (북촌미술관)

Inauguré en janvier 2005, le musée d’art de Bukchon couvre un large spectre artistique, allant de l’antiquité jusqu’à l’art moderne. Il a été conçu comme espace d’observation, d’analyse et d’exposition de l’art, et sert également d’espace de repos culturel.
