Seoul Land est considéré comme le premier parc de loisirs en Corée, disposant d'un très beau décor naturel avec le mont Cheonggyesan aux alentours. Avec plus de 50 attractions , le parc offre de quoi profiter pour tous les types de public. Les espaces Luna Land et Jurassic Land sont notamment des endroits à ne pas manquer.

Le parc Seoul Land est notamment réputé pour ses festivals de saison et son 'Laser Show' qui a lieu le soir. Le parc 'Seoul Grand Park', autre grande attraction touristique à Séoul, se situe non loin sur un vaste terrain naturel et accueille des festivals de saison variés. Le Festival des tulipes a lieu notamment d'avril à mai, le 'Starlight Rose Festival' de juillet à août, le 'Chrysanthemum Festival' de septembre à octobre, le 'Snow Light Festival' de décembre à février.

Le parc Seoul Land est ainsi une destination populaire tout en ayant l'avantage de proposer des sites touristiques à visiter aux alentours comme le Seoul Grand Park mais le Musée national des arts modernes, etc.

Le Mt. Cheonggyesan (618 m) est béni avec de belles caractéristiques géographiques, et les eaux claires qui coulent dans sa vallée qui s'étend sur deux kilomètres, faisant une destination populaire pour les visiteurs et les touristes. Il est l'un des «Jwacheongnyong Ubaeko '(à gauche Blue Dragon et tigre blanc à droite) que la garde de Séoul, avec le Mt. Gwanaksan, Mt. Cheonggyesan, qui a également été appelé le Mt. Cheongnyongsan dans le passé, a deux visages. Le Mt. Cheonggyesan vous voyez sur votre droite lorsque vous passez par le Yangjae Échanges et entrez la route Gyeongbu est une montagne en douceur avec petit rocher affleurant. Toutefois, la zone entourant Manggyeongdae (énorme rocher), le sommet de la montagne Cheonggyesan, qui peut être vu de l'entrée principale du Parc de Séoul Grand Gwacheon, est recouvert de roches, ce qui pour un spectacle impressionnant. Mais, il y a une installation du gouvernement à faire du Sommet Manggyeongdae hors de portée du grand public. Le Pic de Guksabong (538 m) et un autre pic (545 m) sont reliés par un sentier de montagne.

Musée National d’Art Contemporain de Gwacheon (국립현대미술관 과천관)

Situé dans la jolie ville de Gwacheon, le Musée National d'Art Contemporain expose des oeuvres d'artistes modernes coréens et étrangers ainsi que des oeuvres d'artistes contemporains en vogue. Le musée organise régulièrement des expositions spéciales, qui se tiennent pendant trois à quatre mois. La plupart des expositions sont gratuites bien que certaines expositions spéciales peuvent être payantes. Les six salles d'exposition sont réparties sur trois étages, on trouve aussi une galerie pour enfants. Le musée est situé en bordure de Séoul près de Seoul Grand Park et du parc d'attractions Seoul Land.
