Le parc historique et culturel de Dongdaemun allie les vestiges et l’architecture traditionnelle d’autrefois avec un espace culturel à la pointe du modernisme. Deux spots d’éclairage pour les matches nocturnes et la vasque de la flamme olympique sont les témoins de l’ancien stade sportif de Dongdaemun. Des fouilles archéologiques de la citadelle et des sites des anciens stades de base-ball et de football ont permi d’exhumer 44 bâtiments datant de l’époque Joseon (1392 – 1910), dont le terrain d’entraînement Hadogam, ainsi qu’un millier d’objets, parmi lesquels des porcelaines et des céladons de Joseon.

Following his mother’s footsteps, the son of the previous owner is now managing the family business. Opened during the early years of Jokbal Street, the delicious meat at this restaurant is fondly remembered by customers.
