In 2003, the restaurant collaborated with Shilla Hotel and Paradise Hotel and successfully hosted a royal cuisine demonstration event, contributing to the promotion of Korean cuisine.

Arirang House serves delicious Korean cuisine in an elegant style. The food is carefully prepared by 11 chefs, including the chef who has thirty years of experience. The kitchen is divided into the side dish team, the special dish team, and the main course team to prepare a total of thirty or so specialized dishes. The flavors are enhanced by using only the freshest natural ingredients and not using any artificial seasonings. Prices vary by course, and each course comes with raw beef, samhap (a combination of three special foods), assorted raw fish, and steamed short ribs. The bossam kimchi (kimchi with slices of steamed pork) is also one of their specialties.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area in Sansu-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju.
There are four rooms in total, all with ondol (under-the-floor heating system). Seoseokdae and Jungmeorijae rooms can accommodate up to 4, while Jangbuljae and Ipseokdae rooms have a maximum occupancy of 3. Reservations are made for one guest, and guests under age 5 can stay free of charge. Each room has an attached bathroom and is equipped with a refrigerator. A common washing machine is located in the outer restroom. Breakfast features a pumpkin porridge made by the owner. Située dans le centre de Gwangju, ville industrielle et culturelle, la Gare de Gwangju est une gare représentative dans la province sud-ouest de la péninsule coréenne. Elle fut ouverte en 1922 et fut déplacée à son endroit actuel en juillet 1969. En 2004, elle lança le KTX (le TGV coréen). De là, les trains partent en direction des gares de Yongsan (Séoul), Mokpo, Daejeon, et Suncheon.

Le marché Daein de Gwangju est un bon exemple des changements que les marchés traditionnels ont du subier pour rester attractif dans la socitété moderne. C'était oroginairement le centre commercial des habitants du quartier qui venaient faire les courses, acheter des produits ménagers, etc. Mais avec l'apparition des grands supermarchés dans les 1990, le marché Daein est devenu de moins en moins attractif. A partir de cette période là, un grand nombre de magasins ont commencé à fermer les portes.

Cependant, le marché s'est vu revigoré en 2008 pendant le Gwangju Biennale. Beaucoup de magasins vides ont été loués pour accueillir des petites expositions d'arts, ce qui a créé un marché artistique. Grâce à ces efforts, le marché Daein a été désigné 'Attraction culturel' en 2013. Le marché est toujours très lié à l'art qui l'a sauvé. Les commerçants et les artistes vivent et travaillent ensemble en harmonie. Le marché nocturne qui ouvre ses portes tous les samedis est aussi très populaire.

Musée du Bambou Coréen (한국대나무박물관)

Le Musée du Bambou Coréen a été ouvert en mars 1998. Il s’agit d’un vaste complexe permettant aux visiteurs de découvrir l'univers des produits en bambou en Corée. Il fut établi initialement pour servir de zone de repos pour les visiteurs de Damyang et pour promouvoir les arts uniques du bambou de la région.

Le musée possède cinq salles d’expositions et une collection d’environ 2500 produits en bambou, allant des produits datant de la dynastie Joseon jusqu’à des produits plus modernes ainsi que des produits étrangers. Les arts du bambou de Damyang ont une histoire de plus de 500 ans. De plus, les produits en bambou sont réputés pour leur grande qualité grâce notamment à leur resistance puisque dans la mesure où seuls des produits sur mesure sont utilisés par les artisans.

Le musée propose également chaque année un festival autour du bambou au mois de mai.
