The house of Yehbon(예본의 집) is a guesthouse in a single-story residential house. The owner of the guesthouse has stayed at many guesthouses in the US while traveling and loved how they decorated the rooms according to the unique characteristics of the region. This is why she furnished the rooms with a traditional Korean cabinet inlaid with mother-of-pearl and other furniture that are more than 100 years old and covered with mantles that she herself embroidered. The antique furniture is one of the outstanding features of this guesthouse, which has two guestrooms, living room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. Many guests are from India, Canada, America, Netherlands, and Russia, including Koreans living abroad, and they say they find this place very comfortable. It's like homestay, but the owner of the guesthouse tries to provide enough privacy for those who wish to be left alone as well. It’s very conveniently located in Gangnam with access to public transportation within the vicinity and close to the subway station(3rd Daecheong station).

Le musée de la musique traditionnelle a été ouvert en 1995, il est situé à l’intérieur du Centre National des Représentations Artistiques et Traditionnelles Coréennes. Tout ce qui concerne la musique coréenne traditionnelle y est exposé. Si vous vous arrêtez au hall central du rez-de-chaussée, vous allez ressentir le calme aussitôt que vous verrez les instruments traditionnels gardés précieusement dans des coffrets en verre. Vous allez voir la Cloche en Or, Pyeonjong, et le Pyeongyeong (instrument à percussion en pierre), ainsi que différents types de tambours, où étaient joués ces instruments dans la cour royale et lors des services funéraires. Tout en écoutant cette musique traditionnelle calmante, essayez d’aller au Hall d’Histoire de la Musique Traditionnelle. Là, il y a quelques 70 objets exposés. Vous allez voir le portrait de l’ancien musicien Bak Yeon et trouver un grand nombre d’autres images décrivant la performance de musique traditionnelle. Au Hall d’Exposition des Instruments, vous pouvez voir les instruments qui étaient joués dans la musique coréenne traditionnelle. Dans cet hall d’exposition, il y a des instruments nord-coréens et étrangers. Vous pouvez également regarder le matériel visuel des performances. La Salle Myeonginsil est la salle où les possessions d’importants artistes sont exposées. Vous pouvez voir leurs instruments, livres, lunettes, etc.

Centre National Gugak (국립국악원)

Le Centre National a été établi pour préserver et promouvoir les arts traditionnel du spectacle. Il se compose de trois salles de spectacle. Tout d’abord, le yeyak dang, la plus grande scène dédiée aux arts traditionnels du spectacle ; l’aspect extérieur du bâtiment est inspiré du palais de Suwon, la scène quant à elle, a conservé les particularités des lieux de représentations traditionnelles et a été conçue de manière à s’adapter aux différents genres musicaux, musique de cour, de palais, changgeuk (opéra), etc. La structure de la scène et des sièges n’est pas sans rappeler les cours de Corée.

Au première étage on trouve un terrain de jeu pour les enfants offrant la possibilité aux parents de pouvoir profiter du spectacle en toute tranquillité.

Vous pouvez également visiter le musée Gugak (musique classique traditionnelle coréenne) où sont exposées des vidéos sur les instruments traditionnels et sur le gugak. Dans la boutique du musée vous pourrez trouver divers souvenirs, album autour du gugak, etc. Il est également possible de prendre part à diverses activités autour des traditions musicales.
