L'école des officiers de l'armée de terre est connue pour ses règles strictes mais aussi le caractère patriotique des élèves officiers. Depuis 1997, cet endroit est devenu un lieu touristique alors que l'endroit était auparvant très difficile à visiter. Ainsi, le site a été aménagé et promu afin d'en faire un site touristique important. Le parcours de visite permet de découvrir le bureau des renseignements de l'école, le musée de l'école, le mémorial, diverses salles d'exposition, etc, une visite qui dure environ 1h30 au total. Le musée de l'armée de terre abrite des vestiges et des trésors militaires dans les salles d'expositions alors que le mémorial permet d'en apprendre plus sur l'histoire de l'école et le quotidien des élèves officiers. Le point le plus intéressant de la visite est sans doute la vue du défilé des élèves officiers. On peut profiter de ce spectacle les samedis à partir de 11h30. Il est aussi possible de voir les élèves officiers portés de très beaux costumes de cérémonie lors de l'événement 'Hwarang Euisik'. Pour assister à ce défilé dans les meilleures conditions, une visite à partir de 10h est conseillée.

The Samgyetang features its tender meat and thick broth after boiling for 2 hours and the tongdak features crispy and not-fatty taste of the well-drained chicken. Among the menus, sansam Samgyetang stuffed with wild ginseng powder is the most be-loved menu.
