Rivière de Namdaecheon (Gangneung) (남대천(강릉))

La rivière de Namdaecheon est un cours d’eau qui prend sa source à Daegwalnyeong et Sabdangnyeong. Il passe ensuite par les villes de Seongsan-myeon et Obong pour se jeter dans la Mer de l’Est à Gangneung.
La forêt de pins située en amont offre une vue remarquable de la ville de Gangneung. La rivière fournie également aux villes alentours l’eau potable et est utilisée pour les agricultures. La rive a été très bien aménagée depuis la création d’un entreprise d’épuration en 1992.
Le festival de Dano s’y tient chaque année les 5 mai du calendrier lunaire.
