La plage Gwangalli se situe à Gwangan 2dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan-si et se trouve à l'ouest de la plage Haeundae. D'une superficie de 82 000㎡, d'une longueur de 1,4km et d'une largeur de 25 à 110m, c'est une plage qui est très populaire chez les jeunes pour son sable de très bonne qualité et son eau qui est purifiée en continu grâce au programme de nettoyage des eaux du littoral. Il y a aussi des restaurants et des cafés avec des ambiances exotiques et des magasins connus de vêtements comme en centre-ville. Un magnifique paysage nocturne du pont Gwangandaegyo se dévoile la nuit.
Autour de la plage se trouvent des cafés romantiques et quelque 300 restaurants de poissons crus et de fruits de mers. Divers festivals et concerts sont ouverts dans les théâtres en plein air de Gwangalli. Il est possible de pêcher au fleuve Suyeonggang qui se trouve à côté et il est aussi possible de faire du yacht au circuit Olympique de yacht.
