Inwangsa Temple refers to the entire cluster of small Buddhist temples located on Inwangsan Mountain (alt. 338m) in the heart of Seoul. The eastern foot of the mountain has many scenic spots with its distinctively cozy and tasteful atmosphere, and the northern area called Mugye-dong also offers beautiful scenery. Inwangsa Temple was established in the early Joseon period (1392-1910) to guard the national palace Gyeongbokbung. The temple is comprised of 11 shrines from five different Buddhist orders. The unique design of each shrine adds pleasure to hikers on their way up to Seonbawi, an unusual rock formation that is a site of many folk beliefs and shamanist rites.

Jeongdong Guksi features a rich soup with a clean taste, created by carefully removing the oil dozens of times while boiling Korean beef bones for 15 hours. The restaurant uses this same beef bone broth in their mandutguk (dumpling soup), something not many restaurants do. The rich flavor of the broth combined with the soft dumplings, made in-house daily, is a must-try. The restaurant is also surrounded by many cultural and artistic spaces, making it a great addition to tours in the area.

This Japanese-style bar and restaurant is run by a chef who studied abroad in Japan and serves delicious snacks that go well with alcoholic drinks. Spicy stir-fried soba, Japanese-style fried noodles with beef loin and vegetables, and grilled chicken, skewered chicken thighs grilled over a charcoal fire, are amazing. Be sure to check out today's menu, which changes every day. Some people try to order ramen because the restaurant was featured as a ramen restaurant in a K-drama, but ramen is not actually available. Besides highballs and sake, diners can also order a sour, which allows you to enjoy the freshness of lemon, citrus, and passion fruit. There is a cozy atmosphere created by unique props like cute dolls and mirror balls, making it a great place for a conversation.
