The Gwanak Kang Gam-chan Festival is a historical culture festival held to honor the patriotic spirit of General Kang Gam-chan, a general during the Goryeo dynasty. The festival was created by combining the Gwanaksan Azalea Festival with the Nakseongdae Memorial Service, held at the birthsite of General Kang.
