Since opening in 1999, the owner of Jasmine has been the talk of the town because of his good nature. He had been featured in the local newspapers for his good deeds, such as providing food to neighbors in need and offering scholarship money to students from unprevileged families, with the belief that people should share even in general tough times.

The owner is very enthusiastic about serving customers the right way. He even hired a Chinese cook for tourists from China and Taiwan who came to Chuncheon because of Hallyu, or the Korean wave. With the management philosophy that fresh ingredients are a must in bringing out the best flavor, the restaurant owner uses seafood from Mokpo and vegetables from Chuncheon in preparing delicious Chinese dishes for customers. The owner even holds a meeting every morning with the staff to provide better dishes and service.

La Pasarela Panorámica del Río Soyanggang es una estructura que funciona como observatorio, construida sobre el Lago Uiam. Con una longitud total de 174 m, es la pasarela más larga de Corea, y tiene un total de 156 m de vidrio transparente que brinda la emocionante sensación de caminar sobre el agua. Se puede sentir bastante miedo al saber que se está sobre un panel de vidrio, pero no hay nada que temer. La estructura es tan gruesa y resistente que puede soportar a 7.000 personas al mismo tiempo. En la entrada de la pasarela deberá ponerle una cubierta especial a su calzado con el fin de que el vidrio no sufra arañazos y que la superficie mantenga su transparencia. Al salir, deberá devolver la cubierta para que la utilicen los siguientes visitantes.

Es una estatuta de gran escala, de aproximadamente 7m de altura, establecida por la ciudad de Chuncheon en el año 2005, en conmemoración a la famosa canción popular “Soyanggang Cheonyeo” y para promocionar el río Soyanggang. La estatua de estilo moderna, el paisaje de las claras aguas del río Soyanggang, y el paisaje natural de la área, hacen una combinación espectacular. La estatua se encuentra instalada en la zona del arroyo Gongjicheon, en las áreas de la encrucijada de Soyanghoban.
