Parque de Esculturas del Arroyo Gongjicheon (공지천 조각공원)

A partir del año 1997, comenzaron a instalarse esculturas en el parque adyacente al arroyo Gongjicheon, en Chuncheon. En una superficie amplia de 26,928 ㎡, se exponen 29 piezas artísticas de famosos escultores. Entre las obras se destacan: “Dongsim” (Inocencia) de Kim Su-hak, “Punggyeong” (Paisaje) de Kim Ui-ung, “Gyeolsil” (Logro) de Yu Yeong-gyo y “Gongjon 20000613” (Convivencia) de Kim Seung-min, etc. Además, en el año 2001 se instaló un reloj de agua, y como se encuentra ubicado cerca del Centro Recreativo, se puede disfrutar de la zona con césped, escenario al aire libre y fuente de agua. Otro atractivo es que en el arroyo se pueden hacer recorridos en barco y otras actividades de ocio acuáticas. Como el paisaje natural está compuesto por el hermoso lago, es un destino de salidas ideal para las familias y parejas. En esta zona del parque se celebran variedad de festivales culturales y artísticos.

La ciudad de Chuncheon se encuentra rodeada por los lagos de Uiamho, Chuncheonho y Soyangho, por lo tanto, es un destino ideal para el recorrido turístico, ya sea en vehículo propio como también para el viaje en tren, ya que podrá apreciar un espléndido paisaje natural.

Si Seúl tiene al complejo turístico del río Hangang, Chuncheon tiene al arroyo Gongjicheon. Since opening in 1999, the owner of Jasmine has been the talk of the town because of his good nature. He had been featured in the local newspapers for his good deeds, such as providing food to neighbors in need and offering scholarship money to students from unprevileged families, with the belief that people should share even in general tough times.

The owner is very enthusiastic about serving customers the right way. He even hired a Chinese cook for tourists from China and Taiwan who came to Chuncheon because of Hallyu, or the Korean wave. In addition to authentic Chinese dishes for Chinese customers, the restaurant also serves other types of Chinese dishes that suit the tastes of Koreans. La tumba de Sinjangjeolgong (Sinjangjeolgong myoyeok) es el lugar donde se encuentran los restos del general Jangjeolgong Sin Sung-gyeom. Isla Bungeoseom (붕어섬)

Bungeoseom es una pequeña isla localizada en Ha-ri, Hwacheon-eup, Hwacheon-gun, de la provincia de Gangwon-do. Fue creada como resultado de la construcción de la presa Chuncheon. La isla fue convertida en un sitio verde con instalaciones sostenibles y también es usada como lugar de pesca y descanso para los habitantes del municipio.
